I thought I was the only one who liked Saliva so much!! It gets me wiggling even on public transportation-I look kinda crazy, but I love it regardless. And I totally feel you on what you said about hiatuses. I took month-long hiatuses on my editing account on Instagram because I knew that I'd just be posting lower-quality stuff that I wasn't even proud of if I didn't take a break. I feel like this type of cute video fits MSP even better than a long-form analysis one, anyway! Thanks for another great video :))
Man I loved this. I have to give you my top 5 atleast. 1. Come Closer - Ford's voice is amazing and also the placement of this song in the story, this is the moment when I knew I was completely, totally irrevocably in love with MSP 2. Just Being Friendly - Fourth sounds so good in this and I agree with you, somehow the cover works better than the original. Another song which also really worked for me, in terms of its usage in the story. For me, episode 6 is probably the strongest of the MSP episodes, and this song plays a huge part in that. 3. Hook - This song was stuck in my head for about an entire month after my recent MSP rewatch, before I finally decided to stop replaying it 5 times a day, what else is there to say. 4. City - I am sucker for Gemini's voice in the opening of this song, so that's partially the reason. Also, after watching MSP Prom night and also the 2 Our Skyy episodes, I somehow found a newer sense of appreciation for City. 5. You got ma back - I tend to unconsciously start singing You've got ma back back, like just 15 times throughout the day. Also - one special mention - You're Blushing. I know that's technically not an MSP song, but it released around the same time, so I think of it as a companion piece to MSP and it would rank in my top 5, if it was an MSP song.
MSP is my happy place and I swear I listen to all of the songs on repeat. This was such a fun video and I love hearing your opinions in the songs. It's funny, Healing and Rock And Star are tied for my favorite, but I don't think there is a bad one in the bunch. I just adore the variety that we got in the OST for this show and makes it so much fun to listen to.

Wow your list is quite similar to mine! I would only place once upon a time a little bit higher. Actually it's quite difficult for me to rank the songs bcs all the songs are just SOOOOOO good and yeah! the songs at the botton are not bad songs at all!
My top 2 are Rock & Star and Hook. With Rock & Star, I really like the lyrics because it captures such an innocent portrayal of love, and the song is so fun and upbeat. 🎶 You are the only one And I don’t mind being a rock I’m shouting from the rooftops I love you lots and lots 🎶 As for Hook, Gemini’s voice in falsetto sounds so pretty and I love how the warm timbre of the synths complement his voice. Most of the songs in MSP are so good, and this show was so cute and sugary sweet! P.S. I would love to hear your opinion on Moonlight Chicken if you’ve watched it. GeminiFourth are in it but it’s an ensemble show with a lot of other actors, and I think the show tackles a lot of different issues that are worth commentating on.
Ohhhh the SHADE on let me tell you! I ugly cackled out loud! My top five are probably: 1. Hook - I’m unabashedly biased towards any R&B, wich is why just being friendly didin’t make it to the top. I don’t really have thoughts on it, I just love it. 2. Just being friendly - probably objectively speaking the best song on the soundtrack, the fact that it was already a hit definitely comes through. 3. I want to scream out loud - the fact that I never got tired of this one speaks for itself 4. You’ve got my back - I was braving myself for cringey, half baked singing and got a genuinely good song instead, you have no idea how happy that made me. 5. Rock and Star - is the perfect send off for this couple and this series it’s simultaneously upbeat while having this melancholic yearning right under the bright surface and I’m a sucker for that. It feels nostalgic in all the best ways. Also, I really enjoyed the shorter sillier video. I could tell you had fun making it. Get rest and don’t burn yourself out on long form analysis.
Calling Smile Please a "whiney ensemble" ctfu... Also You've Got My Back is one of my favorite theme songs ever, it's just so cute and Fourth's voice probably works best in stuff like this imo! Listen is probably the song I think is the best though, it kist feels so grand and unique in comparison to the other songs (besides Come Closer) Also Gemini did an amazing job in Love Love Love for Our Skyy 2, especially from someone who I don't think has a voice I think of when it comes to lead singer of a band! not because he's a bad singer, he's not, but I also don't think of Ford as that either, even though I think Ford is the best singer in the cast.
