I just had an art exhibit at a local library for a month and out of my 32 paintings this one was the most liked by far of all I did. So much so I had to find the video again so I can paint a couple more for people that really want one for themselves.

Love this! I wish I knew how to paint with oil. Love the blending and soft focus you can get. Watercolor is the medium I use most because of ease of use. This is so gorgeous I couldn't resist watching. Going to try to recreate in watercolor.🤞TFS.

Uh oh, triggered my art brain. Sorry so long winded. You made transition from oil to watercolor pretty easy with mostly painting alla prima. TFS.
When painting, you will constantly be replenishing the amount on your canvas. It’s normal to run out, and to have to mix more depending on how big the painting is that you’re working on. 😊
That's a really lovely painting. Beautiful. Just wondered about your thoughts on the shadows in the foreground as that is not mentioned in the tutorial. I often have a problem in making them look natural and would appreciate any assistance. Looking forward to seeing more of you and your painting skills.
Thank you, I’m glad you like it! The foreground is the easiest part. Just take a light, bluish-gray shade and paint a flowing line wherever you want the snow to drift. If your white paint is wet underneath, the color for your line will blend beautifully into the white. You may have to soften the edges by blurring above and below the line. But you’ll find that it’s really easy to add dimension to the snow and foreground by doing this simple step 👌🏼.
