I remember my first time beating him. After the adrenaline had worn off I was like "nah, I'm fighting that again" and put down my summon sign. A couple fights later there was a second phantom with me helping this host fight Gael. Dude had nothing on except Smough's leggings, no weapon, nothing. He looked hilarious. He wasn't doing any damage, but I saw him get hit maybe once the entire fight. Saw him the next fight too! I added him on Steam and messaged him and he said he had been helping other people for the last couple hours and had gotten bored so he took off his weapon. I decided to join him, and for the next couple hours we accompanied slightly surprised hosts into battle. We equipped caestus's so we weren't completely useless. It was a BLAST. Gael's design is so tight that you can roll almost every attack and no-hitting is very possible. We lost contact at some point, and I still think about that guy and the jolly co-operation we had. If you're out there, cheers to you sir!
I've helped over 300 people kill uncle gael, easily one of my favorites from DS3. Just went back and ran through it 2 weeks ago on ng9. Gael and Friede were insanely fun
Gael and Friede are definitely my two favorite bosses in DS3! Also, 300 people helped by you? That's a lot of people you assisted in defeating Deranged Santa, lots of respect for you my guy!
@@TheResoluteYT It's what I do. Can't pickup embers in ds3 or rune arcs in elden ring. I'm basically the krombopulous michael of the soulsverse, I just love killin'.
Absolutely magnicifent boss battle. The entire set up is amazing too even leading up to the fight itself. I will NEVER get over his aerial repeating gun attack, it gives me chills! So BEAUTIFUL
Mind you, i just realized the blood track of the pigmy at first is made to guide the player to the main boss fight. I hadn't noticed all this time lol.
@Seeeemy 2nd expansion of the third souls game. The lore and setting is as if you go to where the elden ring came from and fight the boss there. Ringed city was just amazing

Why do souls players make up lies?

Honestly, same! His moveset is so darn cinematic!
Gael is the best fight in all From games
Such an epic climax to the series. 1v1 with the 2 most powerful beings left.
The two ONLY beings left, even

I swear DS3 bosses are peak gaming. Nameless king, lady friede, Gael, midir and the music for these fights goes crazy.
For sure bro
I still like isshin the sword saint the most. But Gael is great!
bro's going to boss fight with 167k souls lol
I was feeling a bit confident lol
That's nothing in ng+2
Gael and Isshin are peak bosses in gaming.
After Stage 1, I stay behind a structure and kill him with a Poison spell.

@@Juniper_Wippersnache Maybe not to shame but imo Gael is definitely better than all of Elden Ring's bosses
Triple slam jump attack 🔥
ahh, now I see why Malenia and the Elden Beast are so fucking insane. just another routine endgame boss for Fromsoft I guess lol.
