I noticed RV songs are so fun, it always gives homework for listeners, singers, Instrumentalist everyone to have fun, learn and do different covers possible.
RV's group sound is really the best, their focus on harmonization and musicality really sets them above all other Kpop groups, and allows them to pull through everytime despite taking massive risks by changing their concept and theme every comeback. Almost no other group would be able to pull of what RV has been doing over the last 9 years
I am pretty sure harmonization occurs every time a group of people sing together when in different keys. I am pretty sure musicality is what every musical artist possess other wise they won’t be songs it would be poems. What massive risks does red velvet take by slightly altering their pick me girl concepts to bad girl concepts every 3 months. Almost every single group in the big 3 can pull that off in 9 years. But go off 💀
they are one of the very few active kpop group who has truly established their own sound and style that is so distinctly different than others. when you listen to their song on the radio, you'd recognized it's red velvet. i don't like the way sm manages the girls & their career (i'm talking about the many missed and wasted opportunities) but i like the way they are so consistent with red velvet's music
the fact that they can slay concepts like "happily beating up gingerbread man" or "circus but make it cult-y" and even "i'm in a sad relationship (starts being elegant) :(" says miles about red velvet's versatility in their discography
For this comeback, its all about combining old red velvet style with the new red velvet style. It really does feel like that, to me, and i cant really think of any other way to describe it. The girls worked hard to bring us another comeback so lets also show our support by streaming so we can have more comebacks!
I never can figure out their comeback on the first day. I always expect something familiar and so it isn’t ever what I expect. That said, I’m happy to be a reveluv forever

The number of views in a K-Pop MV is one of the worst ways to measure a group's success in the industry. 28 million may seem like a really small number but the numbers in every aspect other than views are really impressive. Just because Red Velvet's views are "declining" every comeback does not mean they have fallen off. Red Velvet keeps selling more and more albums with every comeback, which is extremely impressive after their long hiatus. You would think they would have fallen off after that long, but they achieved even more than they ever did. From less than 200k sales for "Finale" to 350k with "Queendom" to 650k with "Feel My Rhythm" and then 1,029,463 copies as of January 20. That is an insane growth. Just because they don’t have mass-bought views on the videos doesn’t mean they aren’t relevant any more, so do not feel bad about the low view count. Their achievements are ORGANIC, so do not be discouraged and keep supporting the cake girls
