Here I am 1 year later still listening, watching and enjoying this amazing video. As I watch Mick Ronson performing and knowing how sick he was from his cancer and treatments, I know first hand what he feels. I've been fighting that nasty shit for 16 years and now it has returned once again, and this time with a vengeance. This concert was April 20, 1992 and Mick died April 29, 1993. How ironic is that? I sincerely admired Mick for his talent and the person he was. It makes me wonder what may have been going through his mind not knowing a year and nine days later his time would be up. God Bless all us cancer victims, our families and our loved ones, for our brave battles, win or loose.

I've listened to this over & over just to remember Mick Ronsons unique style. They say he is 64th all time guitarist, I argue that. Definitely in top 10.
He said before he died "I am glad I am dying - because I haven't any more money for the medical bills." His wife said he and Bowie weren't in touch with each other before he died and he was blanked out. He worked as a producer and as a car mechanic too. He wanted to be with his wife and child and being on road with a band he wouldn't have been able to be. He should have - simply - being rewarded for his work. I have always thought that Bowie had a certain cynicism and a me-first about him. Ronson didn't even play on some Bowie albums when he had expected to and even needed the money.
