How do you RATE Tottenham’s Summer Transfer Window out of 10? 🫵🏻
7 just wish we had covered the goal keeper and left back
7.5 i think solanke is a great signing and bergvall and gray will be amazing soon.i think odebere will be really good he looks very exciting
To win the premier league, 4.
To win a Cup, 5.
4/10. The lineup on Sunday will likely be the same, or near identical, as that which lost 4-0 only 4 months ago.
3/10 just cos I rate some of the bums that we fucked off. in terms of incomings. my gosh!! ur on Levy's payroll if you think its adequate. no backup GK, no competition for Destiny or VDV. Ange has spent over 300ms.
Think we’re at a B for the transfer market. We have moved on weaker squad players which frees up budget and space for new additions in future. We have signed a new striker for premium money. And have brought in exciting younger players to provide competition and cover for the team. Do we need more? Yes. But so do most teams. But we have moved in a good direction. We have little in terms of players who are surplus to requirement. I think great work overall but as more could be done then give it a B.
Yeah I back it mate
B+ for me never thought we could shift all our dead wood in one window, i think it could be seen as one of our best windows if bergval, grey and odobert hit there peak ( selling emerson for 18m was a robbery)
I think this window is a 7/10
Pros:
Improved midfield depth with bergvall and gray (hojbjerg and skipp got a lot of minutes starting and off the bench last season)
Got a striker
Got a dribbly winger (Tried for neto but mendes is a snake)
Outgoings
Cons:
No LCB (unfortunate that the CB failed his medical so close to deadline day)
No DM (market isn't great)
Another winger would have been nice but it might block the pathways for Moore and Yang.
Yeah agreed mate
which cb failed medical?
@@benbluffield7261youngsterfrom dortmund, i forgot his name
Outgoings: Really good
Incomings: Decent, would have been better if we had gotten a backup lb too but I'm guessing they didn't manage to find a good fit ? (My guess is maybe locko was an option? who is injured atm), but also glad that we didn't sign up anyone just for the sake of filling up that position regardless of a good fit or not cuz thats how you end up with deadwood like we had until now.
Yeah I hear you mate
My overall feeling with this window is that sometimes less is more. I didn't really feel like we had an excessive amount of incomings that we needed to do, and we've gotten rid of more players than I ever really expected us to. I think its a shame Reguilon didn't end up getting a move for him as much as for us, but there's still time and even if we can't offload him he'll be gone by next summer.
It's felt very much like a sensible/logical window rather than an exciting one, and that's probably a good thing. As I said on TikTok I do think signing Werner has ended up looking like a mistake and we could have ended up in a better spot had we not done that, but its not going to break our season and at worst he's just not going to play very much.
I know people are upset about the lack of defensive incomings but I do feel like reintegration of Spence is positive and Gray was a very clever signing in that regard. Its by no means ideal but I personally don't want to block the pathways of Dorrington and Vuskovic, and I don't think Davies alongside Romero or even Dragusin is as bad as people want to make out. I think its just important to make sure we are rotating Romero and VDV even in the PL, keeping everybody match fit, and then its something we can revisit in January.
At the end of the day, we're Tottenham. We're never going to have a season where everything went to plan even if we had a squad with perfect depth. I think we've ultimately put ourselves in a good position to compete this year and we'll just have to see how things play out
I very much want to be wrong but Solanke signing gives me Roberto Soldado vibe. I hope and wish to Dom to do great for us.
Very concerned about lack of DM and LB coverage. Hoped we can get the type of player PEH was: all action and experienced to see us safely finish the game if we ahead or motivate rest of the team to fight for the win
Bergvall and Yang have just been called up for their international sides at that young age. That tells you how good they are already.COYS.
great vid mate
Cheers mate
I'm really pleased with the transfer window. I know we can't do everything in 3 windows considering where we came from. Still exposed in the goal keeper and left back positions. Gray and Bergvall look like the real deal fingers crossed for Odobert.
👍🏻
A- for me. Obviously not perfect but probably as close as realistically possible. And honestly, why are people complaining? If i told a spurs fan from two or three years ago that dan levy was going toback a manager with over 200 million within 3 windows, theyd ask me how many pints ive had
The one big miss of this tranfer window to me wasnt eze surprisingly, it was calafiori. He was linked to us ages before arsenal.
Two teenagers and a bloke from Bournemouth is never an A- window. I swear some fans just convince themselves of this nonsense every summer.
Agree with the majority of the video. We all know about how Ange wins something in his second year (and he said so himself) and we may win something this year but I always felt this was a 3 year rebuild before we can compete for a title. This window is progress towards pushing for a title challenge starting next season. In terms of this window and how I see it fitting into Ange’s system I think your spot on with the focus on lowering the age of the squad. Not only for molding the young players for the system but the need for young legs for how intense this system is I feel is necessary.
Also between VDV, Vucuvuc (CB), Gray, Bergvall, Odobert along with our young youth academy stars in Hall, Donley, Lankshear and Moore I believe we are set up with a potentially generational spine of the squad for the next 6-7 years. I would have loved cover for a CB/LB and I do feel we may be one or two players short which could hurt us in the short term. If it does happen then we need our young players to step up but can give them valuable experience for true future as well.
We all love to judge the windows immediately but how many of us loved the 2019 window with Tanguay, Gio and Sess? Short term it looked great but long term it’s a terrible window.
With Pep most likely done after the season and possible Man City charges we have set our selves up nicely for a new Premier League. Next summer is the key for me where we need to splash and make that charge.
Overall, short term I would give this window a 7/10 (Outgoings 9/10, Incoming 6/10) but in 2 years from now that’s going to be the true time to judge the window.
Ben Ange is on record as saying he wanted Odobert! Not a second choice for winger
Bros cooking with these thumbnails
Spurs had to take massive losses on our transfers out partially because of bad business decisions, inflated player values, combined with FFP creating a sellers market. Take those losses in consideration with our net spend of 100M and maybe a person can consider this an A+ window for the fans. Im willing to bet that Levy and the board are looking at loads of red ink in the books and shaking their heads.
Mixed bag. Clearing deadwood has been superb. No complaints there. However, underwhelming incoming players. Not saying they wont be great, but 4 u-21 and solanke dont scream richest club in london.
I really liked what i saw from young players but some experience would have been nice. We also have a hole in lb if udogie is injured. Exciting, but a lot to prove.
Yeah that’s fair mate
Completely agree on the LB and CB situation. One hybrid player there would have made the window a lot better. There is a weakness in the squad there which is highly likely to be exposed at some stage. I like the signings we made though
Could you put the camera a bit closer please
The old jam tomorrow strategy its good to see the younger fans still buy this nonsense. They will never buy the established quality players that we need because they wont pay the wages.
Rome wasnt built in a day ??. Rome being built 24 years and onwards ...😂😂😂😂
thats not how it works
2/10
Too many kids signed for too much. Where’s the experienced players we should have signed. I have a feeling ange will be fired soon.
Do you actually listen to Ange? He doesn’t want old players he wants the ones he bought. Stop setting ur own hopes only to be disappointed. No he’s not getting fired. Fire yourself for your dog opinions
@@N17Stu Just an opinion my friend
@@mudbomb2962 kids think uninformed opinions mean something coz that’s what youve been told. They lied to you boy.
You are what is wrong with this club. You think we would win a trophy under these inexperienced players??? HELL NO..
Wake the F up!!!
We needed another defender and another midfielder. It will cost us. Ange doesn’t bloody have a clue mate.
Thank you. The other fella is a grade A twerp
Bro I love this channel but you are chatting shit. We will flop this season. Are you financial advisor or a fan whom wants to see trophies, ask yourself before you upload.
