Just broke things off with someone that took my love and kindness for granted. I asked for very little, and I don’t know if it was game playing or general rudeness, but he couldn’t /wouldn’t, and honestly I don’t give a shit. I tried. Several times. He wouldn’t do the basics. Now he’s finding out The INFJ door slam is a real thing, we don’t WANT to but when we do it’s a relief to us. Nobody understands that when we get to that point the walking away isn’t painful, it’s like a boulder has been taken off our shoulders with the decisiveness. Do you agree?? All I can think about is have fun finding someone like me 💁♀️
I agree I just had to do this 3 weeks ago and it hurt 😔 but I had to do what I needed to do and 10 days ago they called from a blocked number.😂 It’s a relief and a metal release so we can put it on someone that truly wants our love and all the awesome things we offer for free. Even if it wasn’t meant to be and they wanted our friendship we just want the best for them even if it wasn’t for us. They still would have had our trust and support.
Tips for moving on: 1. Detach; don’t take things personally. If someone betrays you or otherwise takes advantage of you, know that it has everything to do with them and little or nothing to do with you. It can be easy to question why someone would do you wrong when you’ve been everything they should ever want, but you can be everything and a person can still hurt you because they are empty, immoral, etc. Whatever the case, that person has their own issues that are their problem, not yours. 2. Forgive yourself & move on! Learning to forgive yourself is essential. Maybe there were signs or a feeling you had you ignored, or you regrettably put in more effort than you should have. You are a human who has a need for connection, you decided to give someone the benefit of the doubt and aren’t wrong for that. In the end, hold your head up knowing you were a good and solid person. Know that it’s their loss. A truth in this video is that it’s going to be rare to find a person who is as loyal and amazing as you are. Find fulfillment on your own and be discerning and a little less idealistic going forward. Really take the time before investing in someone again because whomever you decide to put your all into is damn lucky and a decision that shouldn’t be made without heavy consideration. 3. Have faith in the universe; know that there is a lot of good out there waiting for you. I believe that good people will eventually get good. Focus not on what you’ve been through, but what’s to come. Believe that your experiences, no matter how hard, will set you up to have and appreciate the better that’s ahead of you. Just some words of advice from life experience and what’s helped me 🙂

I give too much I am told, but I don’t expect anything in return. When someone is abusive, shallow, manipulative, or gossip/ gaslighting etc I have no problem shutting the door. There is no sense arguing, because if they are willing to listen they wouldn’t have done that shit in the first place. Most of the time I just quietly shut the door behind me. It hurts for a while but then I plan a milestone in my life like a long trip, or large scale endeavour. When I have finished that I conduct a review of what I let happen and never go back. I think I drove a few narcissists into the anger abyss but f’ck em. They try to say they’re sorry and try to send messages of urgencies or to create a response, but I’m hip to that and my intuition even tells me when it’s going to happen (yeah no shit even down to the day and hour) NO response! The door is shut and the DEADBOLT is on! 😮 I don’t need friends, I don’t mind being alone. I actually liked the lockdown during Covid 19 no one to interfere with my peaceful existence. Turn the page.

I knew for the longest time I was an INFJ, but never really heard if the sigma INFJ, and not sure what the difference is? All of these points hit very spot on so I'm wondering if I'm a Sigma?
I was with an INFJ..they never let me in on their feelings while I was an open book..I am an INFJ and I fit into that mould exactly but my ex partner who wouldn’t allow me inside indicated I was suffocating them..I like my quiet time..I need to be on my own a lot so I didn’t see how this could be possible as they too required personal time..which to me seemed perfect but because I was full of questions they didn’t want to answer I was suffocating them..I got the door slam..slam is the correct term…no one word since that day..even I as an INFJ could not shut out someone whom I loved for a long time in an instant..but then I’ve learned there must be degrees of INFJ..
Any type who has been hurt by someone will disconnect from that person not just the INFJ I think they have been put on a pedestal for too long all types connect with people in their own way no type is special but all are special in their unique way I think to have a balanced relationship you need to be on the same page INFJ'S are Idealist so having this will make an INFJ lonely they need to realize that people are imperfect so they will make mistakes just because people don't agree with the INFJ 's opinions or if a type isn't warm as them doesn't mean the relationship is doomed I don't believe in golden pairs I think it's stereotypical people who have different function stacks from the INFJ if they are both healthy their relationship will thrive .
