@@UnknownDino Well, plenty of premade furniture assets online. Might be a few addons that work in those premade models in the case of architects.

@@UnknownDino I think theres an Archipack or archimesh addon in Blender but I'm not sure if it has interior, it does have exterior.

I used to be the unsaver until Blender crashed when I was working on a 5 hour project. Luckily I found it intact in the temp folder. Now I'm 100% the saver.

Just turn on Auto Save in the preferences. After a crash you can restore your work under File -> Restore -> AutoSave. You don't even have to search for the file.
Btw: you can define a special temp folder for Blender. There you'll find all of your recent work.

I'm 100% the "Saver" I can't do anything without saving the file even if I barely shift the view
me too. Sometimes i even save things i shouldn't like i press ctrl+s when i use a webpage where you have to fill out something.
U do not understand the anxiety i get when i am not saving, hey i just moved this one vertice a little to the left, and now my brain is reminding me of that one time my pc cashed after i worked on a project for an entire goddamn day, so naturally i got save atleast five times without any pause right after that
Once you lose THAT project, you never go unsaved.

Actually not really. Everyone used to be the Unorganizer, since in the older Blender (before 2.7) there were no collections. You had 20 layers that you could put stuff on (and selectively render) and that was that. The only other feature you could use was the Parent relationship. So people grouped stuff by parenting objects to Empty.
No. I never organize my stuff but I save every 10 seconds.
@@krinkrin5982 True, but you could still use naming schemes to organise things. It wasn't as nice as collections, but it kept related objects together in the tree.

I think being "the saver" is just having experience working with blender.
Especially 3.0 on Windows (thanks, NVidia - 'Quadro drivers are more stable', my a**).

I often use the compositor for making custom filters/effects for images and videos. Blender's node system is almost like a programming language in its flexibility.
I can't tell how many times the auto save saved me.
i lost it when blender crashed and had the two laughing meme wolves on screen.
'Saver' is just another word for someone who's blender keeps crashing

Why must you hurt me in this way
It's easy to become stranded on tutorial island without realizing it. Watching someone else complete something takes the edge off when you're stuck in your own project. Watching tutorials becomes fun and blender fades into the "work" zone. It helps to do something you really dislike and use blender as the reward. Positive association and all that.

I had no idea the light theme existed and I would die before subjecting my eyeballs to that again lol
I learned an amazing skill from this. Blender loves to crash on me. Now I can simply get the autosaved files up and running. Magic.
I set up Blender so that it saves the file every second, but I still re-save the scene after changing the view, what if Blender didn't save the file...well enough????
So, it's already been 10 minutes, and I still haven't saved the scene, I'm going to open Blender and save it, wait a minute...

Then it zooms out to reveal a scene that is so full of empties the screen is just a tangle of black lines
a special subtype of the saver is the incremental saver, who saves a new version at every minor change in case "I wanna go back to that later", resulting in bloated folder sizes and ridiculous long blender file lists with almost identical names, except for an increase in numbers, which serves as no indicator of what happened when along the timeline and will leave even the creator scratching their head a month later
I do that, but I use git so only the computer has to see all that nonsense, not me...

What about the numbers user who doesn't do anything visually and types in some sort of value that makes sense mathematically and can be used to line stuff up perfectly later on by doing simple divisions additions and subtractions
I'm sort of like that, I scale things to about the right size using measurements, then manually scale to get it right.

I am both the saver and the guy with the RTX 3090 though I am fairly conservative with my settings, using both optix denoiser and some compositing nodes to compensate as iterations and turn-around speeds are more important to me.

@@nikkiofthevalley reminds me of the time the only way I was satisfied with a rock in a background was if it took up 98% of the total geometry of the scene, when the renderer would go over that square it would slow down to a tenth of the speed

Hey, different program, but I was once “the Overkiller” in Krita. I had saved the wrong picture that I was trying to make two different versions of, so My brain sparked to life for a millisecond and I used “restore previous version” to get the original back.

I can officially say that the organizer and the saver are the same person, seeing as how I'm one of them.
I am both the saver and the unsaver. Sometimes I'll forget to save and when I inevitably crank subsurf too high I'll realize that I fucked up, but on the other hand once I remember to save I'll do it every single time that little asterisk pops up.

Guess I'm a mild saver crossed with organiser - besides bazillion folders, every piece that has any amount of effort behind it also has a hidden subfolder with backups made between every other step. My saves are usually bloated beyond belief.

Definitely a Saver and Organizer here. To an extend where I even save the file when I am testing stuff I did not want to save.
Also each thing I make has about 10+ backup files, because you definitely want to go back in case of doubt. Not that that ever happened.
On another Note: it is funny how Ken's Theme became the official track of powerhouse Graphic Cards.
