The old guys in the national union didn’t think I paid them enough deference and I felt the same way Shane did.l and refused to back down. They’d tell me all these things I had to do but the actual bylaws and constitutions said I didn’t and I’m a guy who lets the members decide and serve what they want to do. It go so ugly I got audited by the FBI and found clean and was censured for not towing the old guy line. Now that I am heading into the early years of old guy territory I’m always careful to not become what I hate. Also I left office and just serve at a local level now as I just don’t love it anymore

Besides, it seemed like they were pretty amicable at the end of this. I watched this whole podcast episode and loved it. Love both of these dudes.
