Hey Peter! Started listening to the Audiobooks to expose myself to the books instead of just the movies. I’m already on book 4 and gotta admit, I’m enjoying the books more than the films. I still really like the movies though.
That's a good way to go, I enjoy reading but I get distracted so easily and don't read very quick. So I started the audiobooks as well and I can't get enough!!

I find I like the British Stephen Fry one MUCH more. He NAILS every character and moment.

I know that this is super random but I have a new pair of male dwarf hamsters, Fred and George. I am in the process of training them to be held and I am using the dragon hide gloves from the keep collecting box to protect myself from their sharp little teeth!

When Harry Potter came out my mom refused to let me watch it because it had witchcraft in it. And being from a Christian family she was concerned that I would try to do some witchcraft but on a darker scale. I never did witchcraft growing up. Never really got into it. But did really want to see the Harry Potter movies as they came out. Didn't get to see any of them in movie theater but I got to see them on TV after they came out.
I had the same experience! But then I loaned one of the books from the library without telling them and here I am, 15 years later, still love HP books as much as then :D

Wow so much love from the potter collector community!!!! I’m really interested in the hand sewn water bottle holders! Hopefully you will get her information and we all can support her and her magical talents! I had to carry my water bottles in my tiny loungefly the first and only time I’ve been to universal which you know is problematic with the locker situation… so praying for all those who’ve had hard times lately, I know how they feel I’ve just had two family members pass away this weekend while I was helping a friend move…. And to comfort me she kept the Harry Potter movies on to watch on breaks and when we had to just pass out from shear exhaustion. I am getting her daughter more and more into Harry Potter and just gave Kira her first Harry Potter anything, and picked a hedwig plush for her… we also watched some of your videos and she kept asking me all weekend to watch more… which delighted my heart strings. Kids can be precious sometimes lol. She’s 10. Anyway please say hello to mama potter collector for me and tell her I always pray for your safe travels and hers as well, she reminds me of my mom so I have so much love for her 🥰. And plan on making you both paintings just haven’t had the time with everything going on rn, please ask her what her favorite shop or building is in the wizarding world, as my forte is watercolor arts especially buildings for some reason lol 😂 but I’d like to bring some of my magic to both of you. I cannot express how much the potter collector community means to me and how sweet they all are… please keep my family in your prayers cos I need all I can get rn, especially ones where I actually want to get outta bed instead of sleeping. I got my first mystery wand and pencil topper two weeks ago, I got one patronus series which I got Ginny, and a bobatton girl pencil topper and couldn’t be happier. Sorry for spelling it wrong. Soooo excited for you to go back to universal maybe you can make a video of your top favorite shops and why you love them so much? I need that water bottle sling for my conventions! it's really annoying having to dig out the back pack every single time I want my 32 oz bag. I have some "water slings" but not big enough for my 32 oz water bottles. I've lost a nalgine bottle on the bus once (it wasn't fun)

Oftentimes other countries will restrict the type & the amount of Harry Potter memorabilia that is allowed in. This is true for other types of memorabilia from different books & movies. Most don’t realize that other parts of the world are not free nor are they allowed to decide what they get to read and/or purchase. It must be approved by those in charge. We get to choose and decide for ourselves. Free to choose does have an impact even on Harry Potter.

Thanks for the answer about multiple houses. When the pottermore site first went up, I took it multiple times to see if it just gave you the house you wanted or really sorted you. So twice I matched to Slytherin and twice to Hufflepuff. SlytherPuff? So I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I had forgotten the part about the Hat taking our choice into consideration. So, that makes me a Hufflepuff. Thanks!
