    Ive lost 40lbs, but let me give you all some advice: If you are getting stomach aches, take GAS-X! All the tummy pain is gas bloating. I was miserable until I figured this out. The minute I feel a stomach ache coming on, I take a couple of GAS-x, there is no side effects with them.

    If you don't change the way you eat for LIFE , there isn't an injection, surgery, or pill that is going to keep the weight you lost off.
    Losing it is the easier part. Keeping it off is tough.

      I agree. You have to change you eating behavior and work out. I heard ppl gained the weight back and some don’t because they changed. I personally feel like Ozempic should help but also change your lifestyle as well because it won’t help once you stop taking it. I’m making better choices in things eat. I mostly drink water. Certain fatty foods make my stomach hurt so I dont eat unhealthy foods.

      Do you just not eat when wegovy takes away your appetite, or do you make yourself try to get in the 1200 cals the nutritionists say one must have? I am in my third week, and I am finding that I am not hungry at all. I have been trying to get the cals in but would rather not. But then I fear of getting nausea from not eating enough it's a quandary. Plus I have only lost a couple of pound. Hope second month is better. I love you presentation! Very nice job!

    I started Wegovy 2 days ago. My doctor told me the .25 dose is supposed to get your body ready for these injections with this medication, so I won’t lose much weight during that time. I was only sent my initial 4 pens of .25. They will send as I increase. The next will be .50. There are 2 more doses above the 1.0. They are 1.7 and 2.4. I'm on my 2nd week of 0.25 and haven't lost any weight at all. I'm getting really frustrated, but I mean, it's only been 8 days. I'm glad that you mentioned you didn't really lose weight on the first month of 0.25. That made me feel a lot better, like it isn't just me. I keep reading these amazing stories, and felt sad that nothing's happening for me, but I have to keep perspective. It's still frustrating, not even a single pound. But I'm hanging in there, and hoping when I start the 0.5 that I'll start to notice a difference. I totally get the nausea though. That's very real! Comes out of nowhere, hits me like a brick in my belly, I have to lay down, and then it goes away and all is well. Thus far, what happens is my body doesn't register as "full" until after I've eaten, then I recognize it may have been too much. I'm hoping I come to recognize my full sign earlier on.

I dont know if anyone else has found that a paelo style diet works well while on this but so far it is helping with the discomfort quite a bit.

      I eat mostly boiled or poached eggs, grilled fish, lean pork and chicken. I try to eat chicken a bit less because I still like the grilled chicken skin. I rarely eat red meat and pork. Being on Ozempic this past week I realized the smell and appearance of fatty foods makes me nauseous.
      I don't like the taste of most protein shakes but I use them as well. I would do 3 days of liquids only per week.. I blend 2 protein shakes as meal replacement a day, with a banana(fruit), peanuts or peanut butter and then blended soup with skinless chicken for my 3rd meal. I drink psyllium husk fiber every morning, religiously. Keeps me regular. I add chia seeds to my 3L water per day.
      I hope that's helpful. This is what works for me.

Instead, Im getting a semiglutide compound through a private clinic for $250 mo including the meds. Luckily, I have a flexible spending account to pay for this. So far, 7lbs down in 1 week. Looking to take off 50. Where there is a will, there is a way. 🙏🏾

      Hi there. I have type 1 diabetes, 3 kids and full time job so can relate. I would make sure you start on the lowest dose and work up slowly if you feel any nausea. I have had it some off and on but not so awful that a small sip of water and a deep breath couldn’t take care of it! Being busy actually helps I think :) my weight loss has been very slow but blood sugars are great and a1c has dropped almost 3 full points. I plan to increase the dose now that I feel more in control of my eating and want to focus more on the weight loss. Good luck!

    It's for diabetics. It is not for weight loss, though it helps with weightloss the main reason this is prescribed is for is for sugar regulation. This is why we have shortage. I hope they put strict regulations on this in the future. The doctors prescribing this to non-diabetics are not only putting y'all at risk for hypoglycemia, they are literally ruining it for people who actually need it. I HATE doctors who do this!

      Hi, I understand your frustration. I was introduced to this medication before it became a popular medicine. Thank you for acknowledging that it is the doctors who are prescribing the medication and not attacking the recipient of that medication. I think the reason why doctors are prescribing it is because WeGovy and Ozempic are the same medication, semaglutide. However, like you said Ozempic is for diabetics and Wegovy isn't.

    • @xrayest4007
      @xrayest4007 2 года назад

      Hello Stephanie, I believe you are supposed to clean the injection area with alcohol, allow it to dry, then inject the medication. Waiting a full 10 seconds after the second clicking sound that the prefilled pen makes. That entire time of the injection, the pen (with needle in it) should be pressed against your skin. This is to ensure the full dose was injected. I don’t use Wegovy (yet, I hope) but I do use Dupixet every 2 weeks and that is also a pre-filled pen. Same idea, different med. In the future, try to inject the med without having some drip down your arm (or leg). That’s just a wasted amount. Good luck 🍀
