Can someone help me, i wanna do livestream sharescreen but i dont want share my external audio cuz it ruin the videos audio... what i want is to share only my screen and the vids audio not my face nor my voice. .... :
You might need to set your audio as mic in the control panel. Which OS are you using? If Windows, you can refer here: www.planetradiocity.com/how-to-play-desktop-audio-through-mic#:~:text=You%20can%20do%20this%20by,Easy%20peasy!
Super helpful video, so I followed your steps, tested it with ‘only me’ as viewer on FB live and it all works superb but ... this is on my private profile when it comes to my page (business profile) when I want to go LIVE on FB I don’t even get the ‘screen sharing’ option just: use stream key, use camera & use paired encoder. Why is this? So it means that screen sharing is not available for Pages?
Hi, it works on Pages too. Can you try go to your Page, from facebook.com/live/producer, try change to Share to a Page you Manage, the ScreenShare option under Use Camera should still be there.
Chuah, I am having a conflict with the use of the camera between the two applications, Facebook and Loom. No matter which I start first, I cannot find a way to get this to work. It appears that only one of the applications can use the camera at the same time, and Facebook appears to need access for its part to work.
@@keemanxp Even when I choose screen share, the camera is still assigned to the Facebook application in the browswer. No other application can access it.
Hi, I can assist if you need further help. Which part are you confused with? Alternatively you may also use Streamyard.com to make it easier to stream to your FB.
Mr. Chuah Kee Man, many thanks for such a useful vid.. But plz I need a favor.. my web cam and avatar goes behind my PPT.. when I try to project on FB... but your vid shows ur cam always upon ur ppt...plz help..
Hi Mr Sharif, in my video I used the Chrome version, so I have to upload my slides to Google Slides (to show it via Chrome). If you would like to use PPT Show, it's better to download LOOM Desktop www.loom.com/download
I'm unable to get Facebook to share my screen. I click on share screen and a pops up message says Facebook is sharing my screen, yet it continues to show my camera instead. I'm not necessarily trying to layer the camera with the screen capture, just capture the screen by itself which is not working for some reason. Any ideas? Thanks!
@Figureative Arc, can I know when you click Use Camera, at facebook.com/live/producer/, you'll see the option to Start Screen Share. If you click on this, did you get a pop-up? Choose the Entire Screen option. If you don't see this, most likely it's browser issue. I guess you're using Chrome? Can try update or download the FB Screen Share extension.
@@keemanxp thanks for replying. Yes I do see the pop-up that says share entire screen. I clicked on this and then Facebook has another pop-up that says it is sharing my screen. However, my camera continues to show me instead. I do have a Chrome extension. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with my camera? It's the kind that you just plug into your desktop it doesn't come with any software.
Jonathan Sargent Can you try unplug the camera first and see if Facebook is capturing your screen? You can do a Private Live and see your streaming via phone just to check if it is streaming the screen instead of the camera.
@@keemanxp it's strange cuz I did unplug the camera and then the screen goes blank even though the Facebook pop-up says that it is sharing my screen. I have found other instances online with people describing the same thing.
When i shared screen while being on my page, I could see the chat box (and thus cud see the questions being asked). As against that when I shared screen in FB live in a private group. But when my screen was shared, I was not able to see the chat. How could this problem be sorted?
Hi KC, if you use Loom for Chrome, launch it first as it will start recording your screen and once you turn on screenshare (whole screen) on FB Live, you go straight to whatever you want to show via Loom (don't go back to the FB live producer). It is advisable to use another device to view your streaming so that you can see how it looks like and you can also read the comments.
Great idea! I will try this. Thank you :)
You're welcome 😊
Great video! Thank you! Been trying to figure that out!
Awesome! Most welcome

Hi Victor, for FB choose Screen Share instead of Use Camera.

I'm confused but really want to use these two together. Do you offer a Zoom in-person lesson (paid of course)? I'm in Melbourne Australia.

I am trying to share a video but the audio of the video I am trying to share is not going live, why is that case?
Hi you might want to turn on the speaker and let your mic capture the audio as FB screen share doesn't has the direct audio sharing.
I download loom extension... but I am not able to live and pic same time at what page i want... plz help me out Sunday I am going Facebook live stream

Hi Dr, you'll probably need to load the page on another device to view the comments as the Screen Sharing will cover the page.
Can I screen share like Instagram (to have someone else connect on the screen)? If yes, how?
At the moment this feature is not allowed. You may consider using third party app like streamyard.

The pc cam only can choose either for loom or share screen.
bang fiona Hi for share screen no pc cam is needed.
I hate Loom
Feel free to use other tools as well. As long as you get to screenshare while showing your webcam view.
