Well, having living pressures does not give you a reason to be rude to others. This is a very lame excuse. It is all about up bringing. Do you know Hong Kong people look down on Malaysian tourists, thinking they are from a poor and third world country (living on trees). On the contrary, they look up to Singaporeans tourists because they acknowledge Singapore as a very rich and developed nation. Hong Kong people besides being rude, uncultured (not all of them, a certain percentage of the population) are also pigeon eyed and they judge you by the clothings you wear before they respect you. Sorry for all these unpleasant comments. This is how I felt and was treated during my visit to Hong Kong many years ago.

My last trip to HK was 98 and US in 2005. I have no interest in revisiting either for similar reasons. Both countries seem to think they are the best and look down on Malaysians.
Something to add: I transited to HK airport once due to flight issues. I was puzzled by two scenarios. 1. Why on earth do immigration officers or people in particularly young ones, working like immigration officers, walk in pairs and chat leisurely as opposed to the so-called highly efficient nation they (HKers) claim. 2. Secondly, I wonder why they stared at me as if they had never seen a six-footer Asian travelling. I could tell they were more surprised than alarmed. Of course, I was very appreciative, but I am just an ordinary Asian. What happens to your education and the world view.
In Hong Kong, the people there left a very unpleasant experience to visitors. I would not visit Hong Kong for vacation. Very unpleasant!!! Taiwan is so much comfortable for vacation and visitors.

我係大马土生土长嘅华人，祖籍广东。大马广东籍嘅华人属于好有礼貌同规矩嘅群体。我哋最早個几代华人都係唔识得讲粗口。自从睇港产片之后，从中学识咗唔少粗口。学识咗广东话里边嘅中文係点样写。我对早期香港人嘅印象其实係几好，直到SARS事件发生。之后有废青事件，又见好多香港青年好钟意听大马某粗口歌手黄明志嘅演唱会，好明显依家d香港人冇以前果d咁有质素。我最唔钟意嘅就係香港人嘅粗口文化。
講真！自97後，莊豐原案後，HK已經被強國人不停入侵，正苦所講嘅黑暴事件後大約90萬人遠走他國，25年後嘅今天，大多數都係新港人，仲有多少人是英國管治下的真香港人，大家心裹最明白。

日本城市人生活上都有很大压力但是相对地都很有礼貌和耐性。去了香港会有贴💰买难受的感觉。

在高速发展的现实压力下，香港人只会功能性思考问题，不会结构性去看完整问题。优点-话头醒尾做野积极勤快，但大部分暴躁，人冇乜底线+原则，个人利益主义社会。
香港确实是个奇葩，一个很难同本地人交流沟通的城市。不管去餐厅点餐，搭巴士，做的士，分分钟都可能和当地服务人员和司机发生口角和冲突。去过很多地方，香港服务算是世界上最差，最冷漠的地方。不过香港还是有好人，有友善的人，貌似比例1-2%.
最不喜歡香港新文化就是開口閉口DLLM，在馬來西亞絕不會出現(有就非常少之又少)
在馬來西亞如果有人用如此口吻對人講話，好容易招來橫禍，因為大家都不習慣被人x。香港人就不同，因為都是從小就被X大的，習慣了。

香港尤其是服务业在SARS之前态度是恶劣的。 SARS后在政府和电视台教育和导引后变好了很多。 可是只是维持3-4年而已。在经济好了后又变恶劣了。
