In real life the modern ship uss gravely can only make little damage to the yamato and the yamato can only one shot uss gravely Why? You say missiles can explode it Wrong The harpoon missile used on uss gravely or the other missile tomahawk was designed to explode modern ships not ww2 chunky armour Since the yamato has a almost 1 meter thick armour it cant be penetrated Lets say you have guns Same factor applies that the gun on uss gravely wasnt designed for armoured targets Does uss gravely have a chance? No But has a chance of escaping the yamato So the yamato can destroy a fleet of Burke class destroyers Those 450mm naval guns are useful after all
@@TPE429 yes ur right let me also add that yamato didnt sink because of some torpedoes or aircrafts it literally tanked 19 torpedoes only exploding because the ammunition storage caught fire and not to mention the fuel cursed endeavor it had.
