  • This video is a quick tutorial on how to test if an oven element is blown. A blown element result will either be displayed as O/L, kΩ or MΩ. A healthy element reading (depending on type of element tested) will most likely be display between 15Ω and 55Ω.

Hey Dave do all oven elements have different resistances? If so how can I know and determine if it’s faulty.

Hi, this was super unhelpful Because it's mislabeled. These are elements on a STOVE not an oven. I have a blown element on an oven And don't know what to do.

This is a bit misleading because it's not about oven elements. It's about hob elements. Good effort otherwise but it wasted my time and probably other people's too.😐
