I think he was addressing themes in the show. Although he definitely went the melodramatic route.
I’d prefer it if she was high here, because if not, shes essentially mocking his speech. That’s kinda cringe considering she’s up in the stage accepting the award with him, and plays opposite his character.

I honestly don't understand what are people truly looking at, but there is a whole picture happening here: She's acting randomly anxious because the guy is trying to give her the Award, but she clearly doesn't wanna hold it. So she tells him to pass it to someone else. Then, she ended getting it, and it's mad heavy, so she struggles and handles it to David. Now, about that speech, I was confused A.F. with all that random and mixed stuff he said. She was trying to make sense out of all that, that she even had to read the paper herself at one point, to make sure he wasn't making all that up. I would've reacted the same way as her, specially with the part where he talks about Feminism, where there is no room for it. And lots of other things he mentioned. I would say, whoever wrote that speech was the one in drugs, lmao.
