Massive respect for the coach here. He is really patient and clear.
Patience of an angel really...
Hes a true pro. Reminds me of my old boxing coach in the way that he teaches. My old coach used to say "you couldnt know that 2*2=4 unless you first know that 1+1+1+1=4 first".
I can already hear Devon saying OH HES STRONGGG
Dude same🤣🤣🤣
Bahp bahp bahp... or... bam bam bam!
Lmao
And than beating him
Oh Chess He’s Way Too Strong
Orange guy is a really good coach and knows armwrestling really well
You mean goku
Who is that guy?
He’s like the arm wrestling baby sitter/ coach for these monsters lol
@Vinny Booboo yes i read that, but who is he? Former/present pro?
@UCHYu_hZCkYZbzbmjyvnoJLw don't think so the orange shirt guy is a much better coach than Larrat, everything he says is on point and concise. He really teaches well and focuses on the most important things
This armwreslting teacher is so knowledgeable, he really understands how to explain and see whats happening with the match. I can see him cringing when people just use arm without the lat connection. Larry keep this teacher he knows his stuff, listen to him and you will be in the upper tier soon.
The coach guy is biting his lip so often, Awa and Larry just want to beat each other all the time.
I guess the best quality of any coach is patience and he seems to have that. He has all these massive guys around him who want to prove themselves with brute strength against each other and he’s the guy in the middle trying to keep everything in order and making sure people understand it’s just a training session.
@@zGJungle totally ... 😅 well boys will be boys
@@zGJungle totally. I feel like Larry doesn't understand ANYTHING his coach is telling him sometimes, and is just like "I'll just use my arm anyway when it comes match time"
18:49 *look he's smiling*
Awa's face: 😠
Lmfao
Awa's starting to settle down and realize practice isnt about winning or losing. He'll get there mentally. ALSO DUDE IN THE ORANGE SHIRT IS A GOD SEND FOR THAT CLUB. TRUE COACH.
Awa has way too much pride you can see it in his face but thats those type of guys always have to win but he loosen up for the most part
The guy with the big hands could literally beat everyone there. Just lacks technique and at every start, his wrist is in awkward - already losing position
Yes that is what i am thinking . No technic whatsover and he is giving them hard time
and he closes his eyes every fight, if he keeps his eyes on his hands it will help alot also as they are telling him to.
has mayor problems with leverage and not knowing what to do in match
could be beast if he learned how to armwrestle...same with awa...))
peace be upon u
Yes I'm also an expert arm wrestling technique sensei and I concur
Plam dm, nah he is not as strong as larry. Larry kind of slack off in his left, he's more interested in his right arm. Right arm larry buried every single one in there.
Whenever Larry keeps that arm inside and drags that elbow across the pad he is beastly. Has to work furiously on that connection
Jonas is very likable, gives a fair grip and laughs whether he wins or loses, unlike other people...
Who ever pays the most attention to the guy in the orange shirt will take over king of the table at this club. I would listen to him. Technique beats power.
only to certain degree. look at Dennis vs Devon
Technique PLUS power will win :)
Depends on the level of difference of power. Unfortunately it's not as simple as you make out.
Yeah lots of 10 year olds with great technique beating gorillas.
Well what if the guy lifts three times the weights you lift
Dude, the way you approach your training and your determination for achieving a goal is next level. I kept watching you use pure horsepower to overwhelm your opponents on the table, but this desire you have for really understanding the mechanics of hooking and top-rolling is something else. Fun to watch you brotha. Keep it up...
the dragonball guy is a great addition to the club
Luke yeet u know whats his name?
Krillen before he was bald
It feels like awa doesnt want to practice everywhere and just wants to beast everyone all the time
he's fresh and very talented, he will settle into the sport and learn how to practice properly soon enough.
I would've agreed for the first few videos but Awa can clearly be seen in this video looking at the orange shirt guy right before his match with Jonas and he's clearly taking on the advice. There is clearly a massive language barrier for him though since he can't speak English so he's just going off visual instructions. When you've a room of people laughing whilst talking about you the whole time, you may feel like a stranger. He doesn't know why they're laughing, good or bad reasons.
I thought so as well but he's getting better at treating it like a practice and learning session
Not anymore, in this video he clearly got better at it and just wants to practice as well.
@Google Sucks So judgemental... Making these types of comments actually makes you seem like the one with a small brain.
I get this feeling Awa doesn’t know much English. Could be wrong. I love that Larry is paying attention to the minutia.
he might still be confused on the rules
yes awa spoke with the guy with red t-shirt in French
Awa and the Guy with the red red shirt are from Cameroon, they speak french
He doesn't
The trainer wirh the powerful dragon ball shirt hahah. I love that guy
Me before this video: oh yeah, arm wrestling is simple...
Me currently: 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Very complex. I compete 7 years now and still figuring out stuff.
it used to be.. but these PROs are doing tons of bullshit techniques over years to make it look like that..
@@Chrontard I mean you're actually wrong but whatever
@@Chrontard Some people think that the only real way to armwrestle is elbows in the table, hand and wrists straight the whole time and then side pressure for the pin. Basically how amateurs do it. Just straight side to side, but that has no technique, no richness.
If you armwrestle, you'll quickly find that the biomechanics of the body will take you to positions you didn't expect, because you're desperately trying to win. If you outlaw every little technique, every position other than center table posting side to side, then the match will constantly get stopped by the refs because armwrestlers don't armwrestle that way.
Everyone grows up with different conceptions of armwrestling, what should be allowed and what shouldn't. That's why I think freedom armwrestling is best, or as few rules as possible.
@@Hallowed_Ground would it be kind of like wrestling with straps? They seem to take away a lot of that hand shananigans.
Im a complete noob, only arm wrestled in a bar while drunk, so genuinely interested in knowing
The 'Dubai's national champ' guy gets mauled by everyone Lol.
Lol literally!
How many people armwrestle professionally in Dubai?
@@muccisebastian9300
Lol probably five

He couldn't top roll which is his like only strong suit
Big respect to all the guys! Such good vibes between them all
, the guy with the goku shirt is fkn awesome with good knowledge
He's like master roshi teaching krillin and goku
Notice Awa is laughs and smiles with the red shirt. There's a language barrier with him and everyone else. He's not nearly as awkward or "mean" with his brethren. I think it's literally a language issue.
That's true😂
They’re still speaking English though...
@@HollerAtcherBoi French.
Its that way with kirill too. People are more open when you speak their language.
People I think we should learn to appreciate Awa is opening up slowly, he is now smiling and understanding when it's practice or match. We all have different personalities
A lot of the smiling started with Jonas appeared. I think the language barrier is the issue. Awa lightened up a lot the moment he could communicate with someone.
he was calling one of the others to shut up . low IQ
@lolcano234 8 min 24 sec in the video he tell the indian guy shut up u see what he is doing.
20:56 The new guy with big hand is all smiles and fun ready to enjoy the friendly competition. He will make a good addition to training. Good to watch the guys coaching and keeping practice under control.
I hope we keep getting updates on all your table sessions. Really shows your progress and it’s so entertaining.
yo im loving this more great people coming in your team yall gonna be good fr
Once Larry learned to be light on the pad he gained 10% power by not separating.. Blasts right through Awa now.
Awa wanted to let a couple of the weaker guys use two hands against him. Of course, I did. He's still strong though. 🤣 Check out how strong Jonas and Troy are! Unreal!
How
Good wifi
How explain
Adam keep filming for Larry!! Literally the best videographer man!!
Abdulrahman Al Ali Thank you so much!
These arm wrestling videos are my favourite thing to watch on RUclips right now. Thanks Larry!
man its so cool watching your progress larry much luv
This Awa always gets mad when they're practicing 😂 😂 trying to pin everybody 😂🤣🤣
He’s doing a good job and learning fast.
Random Being Yeah. I don’t like his attitude
@@jdj2022 would you like his attitude, if you could beat him ?
@@john1770 what are you talking about? I don’t know if I could beat him or not and what does that have to do with anything?
Very low iq individual
When I watch Larry get trained and then Larry perfume trained techniques I realize one thing. He hasn't come to an understanding of the concepts of the teachings. Once he does this, he will use the tips and techniques learned properly and will be a beast. Seems like when he loses and wins it's not from a lack of strength or possible technique but the culmination and understanding to put those two together in unison.
He is lacking technique, though. Putting technique and strength together is always the finishing piece, like the keystone of an arch, but Larry needs to have that technique in the first place to apply it.
Some people are so much better are understanding the technique than others, but Larry is probably in the middle of that spectrum. He doesn't learn super slowly but he doesn't learn quickly at all either. He'll get there, but it's taking a while.
@@Hallowed_Ground He actually looks a bit slow to me tbh. My opinion.
@@justspacing9031 He's definitely slow compared to people who learn it quickly, but I know it'd be harder for me to learn if I was on camera and surrounded by people. Technique is much easier to learn in a calm environment with one or just a few people, at least for me. Larry isn't as camera shy as I am but I'd imagine it all still has an impact. But yeah, he kinda doesn't understand what people are trying to tell him to do, but then a lot of people don't.
I'm often surprised by how often people greatly struggle with simple thingslike cupping, supination and pronation. Basic movements that are seemingly simple take a long time for some to acclimate their body to I guess
What does "perfume" has to do with anything here?
He's not slow he's just new to the game. With experience he will come to an understanding and reach the next level.
The new beast with the red shirt is so gentle!! I really hope to see him in the next practice. Just a few tips and he will smash a lot of pros out there!!
Loving all these arm wrestling videos. Very entertaining. This coach is really outstanding.
I cant wait for larry and schoolboys match I've got to be fair Larry's looking so flipping strong these days I think he might just pull it off 💪👌👏
Andi Quill school boi is a freak with stronger tendons
The main difference is technique at this point and school boy has that over Larry due to his vast experience. Larry is still using way too much arm and not enough body weight and proper leverage.
Andi Quill I think school boy will likely beat him but it won’t be a steam roll like people thought. Give Larry three years or so and he will be a top guy I bet.
He is strong but way too slow. If he by chance get a good position on schoolboy its possible he can pin him. But schoolboy has the advantage on the table. He knows how to transition in every aspect on the match. My guess is that schoolboy will gain handcontrol and leverage within the first 0.5 sek after the go and Larry wont be able to counter. Larry is too slow on the techniques, he needs to think about them to perform it. For schoolboy it comes natural by now.
Does anyone know the exact Date when the Match is?
You and devon go to Africa and find more freaks! Love it great stuff
I love the community you guys build. Great videos. Keep going
Larry is such a humble n respectful person....
He is very strong but he makes everyone feels proud even if they loose against him...
Bro, teach this man how to toproll correctly. He will roll over everyone...
Not with those thin wrists and forearm. Just tHe fingers are long like girls ..he's a skinny guy who bulked up.
Awa looking like he's trying to 'win' at a practice! haha
They all do
And that's good I think.
Everyone lowkey wants to win lol not only him. He’s just a bit serious about it.
Beautiful group of strong and gracious men on the table. Fun to watch. And the coaching was top notch. Absolutely top notch. The instruction he gives is invaluable. Really great stuff. I find Awa a bit annoying and cocky, looking like he thinks he has this down pat, but I hope he learns more and continues to improve. Once he gets the technique down and a better understanding of the mechanics, he could be really dangerous!
I love Larry. Always looking to learn in any aspect of sport and life. A great example.
Awa, im pretty sure he is a mechanic in Al Nadha, everytime i walked past he asked me to come in for an arm wrestle haha, i really nice and humble guy, told me about his aspirations in football (im sure this is the same guy, if not he is definitely a twin)! He told me he never entered a gym to workout in his life, just his genetics are incredible!

DANKIUS yeah His hands were actually bigger than Shaw’s from what I understand.
As an armwrestling fan for many years, it's such a pleasure to see more people get into it and promoting the sport. Huge kudos Mr Wheels!
Also, I have to say; for someone who claims he has never arm wrestled, Awa seems to have a really basic but innate understanding of armwrestling and leverage. Dude has so much potential.
Awesome vid! Enjoyed everyone in it! Keep it up!
Larry, one thing about learning AW, ALWAYS pay attention to the attributes of the person giving you tips. If you are not built like them with their levers then your style will be different from theirs. Short guys teaching you to have a highly Lat dragging style doesn’t make sense brother. You aren’t a small guy and you won’t use drag as the primary force in your hook. Most pullers who give out tips never consider that they are built differently and pull differently.
Keep killing it!
Noted. True, i obsess on the dragging part.
Spaghettiman he is hooking not pressing. When you focus on dragging your lat with a long arm it tends to lower the lever. A much more efficient style of hooking with his length of arm is maximizing height and tightness.
these guys can't ever go light against larry they always want to beat him so bad 😂😂
Everyone the same when new to competitive strength. It is hard to go light when you want to show your best. Takes time and experience, same with boxing sparring sometimes.
Some strong ass dudes here, man. That bit about sliding the elbow finally made sense to me. Been watching for years, but this was not something I thought about. Great insights!
I've never been a fan of armwrestling but Larry got me pumped. Couldn't stop watching. Competitors from all over the world. Fuckin Pumped Bro!
Awa told you so! They are all like him in Cameroon!
Larry is actually finally learning to use his raw power in matches, he is destroying almost everyone when ever he is getting a good hook position. I think Larry actually has a good chance at beating Schoolboy if he keeps improving at the same rate.
Also schoolboy is natural.and weigh less. nothing impressive mate.
He starts in hook every time two win if you watch

Guy in orange knows his stuff, great job LARRY bringing in people with different knowledge to the arms of wrestling. Knowledge is power! AWA is force to be wreckon with if properly trained with someone who knows his native tongue and also knows the craft. having that other guy with the big hands made AWA loosen up a little, less seriousness in a match. More like a big and small brother moment 😂. Nevertheless great training session
Awa doesn't realize how dangerous the king's move is. Nice that he's trying different stuff though.

I hope Awa's ego didn't get too scuffed from that guy 😂
dunno, why everyone is acting like Awa, is some kinda ego crazed maniac. The guy is just competitive that's not a bad thing lmao. That's why coaches are around to make sure things don't get unsafe.
DJ He is just very emotional and can't handle losing
@DJ bruh the last match I was cringing the whole time, surprised his arm didn’t snap, they need more coaches for all those people to really keep it safe.
It probably did, but in a good way. The more he gets humbled in a nice way the less he seems to feel like he "needs" to win every practice pull to shelter his ego. Between the new guy and Larry he's got two guys that can give him real trouble, the kind that will force him to learn better technique, and to do so, he'll have to learn how to practice pull. He could easily turn into a great armwrestler and form some real bonds of mutual respect and admiration over the next 6 months if he keeps at it and doesn't get discouraged.

Awa reminds me of the bodybuilder Victor Richards he will be a beast once he start a good work out routine and of course some gear I see some people think he's arrogant but that's not the case it's deeper than that I have a friend that's naturally strong and when I used to work out with him if I was stronger than him on a particular exercise he would act just like Awa but it wasn't because he was arrogant or competitive it was because he has always had pow self esteem and if he lost at something it made him feel that much bad about himself kinda like Mike Tyson was in the beginning he just need someone to work with him and build his self esteem and he will be more relaxed
