I think people that don't like the video don't understand what it is about. I am not sure myself, but when I try to interpret the meaning I look at the visuals: record contract, two pretty ladies, performing in a way that is not Trevor's style, and having a video that features what a lot of mainstream artists use. To me he says he can't live without her love, "her" being music, and it almost feels like Trevor is saying if he sells out he would commit suicide because he would lose his love of music. This is my own opinion and I feel this is beautiful.

I'm not really feeling the low-fi sound... Death Dream and SCB&ET were just so polished and flawless and I fell in love with those albums instantly. However, I will give the new album a chance and perhaps this new sound/vibe will grow on me!

SeanStrife ok i missed that & after pausing this few times I also see the hourglass tattoo...just thought the couple other times we got to see some of him, his arm tattoos/sleeves were different & what rly thru me off was i coulda swore he was shown as as having darker hair & eyes, not the blondish/blue it looks like here..and on the "Girlfriend" video that DEF wasn't him, he said so himself so I was kinda quick to assume he got someone else to wear the mask for this video too, but looks like I just didn't examine it too closely lol
