I think this is one of their hardest songs to sing.. it not on their set lists anymore.. she sings it beautifully. ❤ it just magical , with the sadness and the atmosphere of the melody the harmonies, instrumentals and the heartbreaking lyrics. You feel the pain of the song

Whats with the bird twittering - is that 'dawn' after the lonjg night (1.51) and some strange instrumental sounds elsewhere (1.16), (2,58-3.08) ? But she's right - there is a (brilliant) unplugged version of this song. This to me, although OK, isn't a patch on the studio or unplugged versions. Andrea is brilliant though (as ever). No Caroline only on light percussion - recently had baby - (Jason on main kit instead)
Bird is annoying. Sure this is some weird post production add and not part of the concert. There are screen graphics accompanying it. As for those “strange instrumental sounds” not strange at all. The 2:58 to 3:08 you cite is Guitar Anto Drennan plays it and is in accent to the music.

No irritating sound at all. That sound as well as the “bird” flittering and tweeting (see jezkn post in this thread) are IMOP due to different versions, single song and full concert. All are edited. (The single songs extracted have to be edited). The bird is obviously post production. Intentional most likely. The sound you reference is probably resultant from whoever edited the clip out of the concert footage. Notice it occurs before the applause ends.
