Wonderfully read. Loved the description. I pictured her in my head just as she looked in the picture at the start. Your voice bringing it all to life, so to speak. Thank you.
Loved it. It was a very common thing for artists to use a canvas several times before creating their so-called masterpiece. Interesting story Miss W. Love the spooky.
Hello, Northern Girl. Yes, makes you wonder about old canvases, doesn’t it? Just think, all those artists starving in their garrets and going bonkers on absinthe…there must be quite a few haunted paintings out there.
Miss worm simply great, and laid resting with that fire burning away simply marvellous, the tradition of ghost and sinister stories for Christmas is fantastic, better than tv 😊
@missworm Thank you. Honestly, no. My truck's frame rusted through in 3 spots and cannot be repaired. I'm out in the country, so there's no way to take public transportation or walk for anything....Due to this, I cannot get to physical or occupational therapy. To say it's a battle to get through most days is an understatement. How are you? I hope that things are going well for you. I listened to episode 2 before this one. For some reason, it will not let me comment. I can't wait for the next episode to air!! You truly have a wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing it!! Take care.
Gosh, you’re not having much luck at the mo, are you? Let’s hope your luck changes soon 🍀 💫 Thank you for the kind words - they certainly encourage me to keep on recording.
A good story and one i could easily follow. Sometimes i get lost in stories just like I do if i try and read. BUT I followed this one..Well done Miss Worm..
Hello there! There are quite a few coming up that are this sort of length, so hopefully they won’t be too long-winded for you. I think a lot of the stories were originally written for magazines so they couldn’t waffle on forever!
Deliciously read my dear Miss Worm. Buyer beware. Never do tonight, what can easily be done tomorrow. Did you perhaps add the reference to the pipe? It was a stroke of genius. 🐟&🍟
This was great! Holy cow Miss worm. Brilliant!! It sort of reminds me of my picture experience. This was so good. And the last the thing how he doesn’t have the courage to paint someone for the frame. Holy cow that was good!!!
Wotcha Miss Worm! Decided to go back to the beginning of the Christmas fright stories... thinking it would be less frightening ....Ooooh! Not so! Bravo!
Thank you, Peter. Do have a jolly good rummage through the videos, but if there’s something you particularly fancy, just leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do.
No more old paintings…Lol! Great story….♥️😊
You never know what’s lurking beneath the varnish, do you? 🧛🏻♂️ 🐺 👻
Yikes!😵. Not bringing home any more old paintings. Good work, Miss Worm. 🤗
I’ve got a C19th oil painting of some trees in winter. It’s seriously creepy. I thought of that when I read this.
@@missworm 🥴😄
Great story Miss Worm! Keep'em comin'!
Hello, Matt. Glad you liked it. Next one should be up the day after tomorrow!
Delightful as always Miss Worm, short but extremely entertaining
Hello again, Nerdy Girl. Glad you like it. There are some longer stories coming up. I didn’t want people to get sick of me too early on!
Wonderfully read. Loved the description. I pictured her in my head just as she looked in the picture at the start. Your voice bringing it all to life, so to speak. Thank you.
Hello, old Uncle Mike. That’s my old passport photo 😉. Glad you enjoyed the story.

@TruckinPiperBob 🤭an added bonus of immortality- not having to change your passport every ten years!

Beautifully read and suitably chilling. A wonderful start to the season, Miss Worm!
Good evening, Simon. We haven’t had much vampire action, have we? I’ll have to find a good werewolf story, too.
Yes Please!@@missworm

Great ! Enjoyed this one.... spooky 😘
Hello, Steve, good to see you again. I shall have to see if I can find any more Hume Nisbet short stories.

Good evening, Yusuf. Glad you enjoyed it. We should get Mike & Bob to tell ghost stories later on - assuming they make it that far!
A good story and one i could easily follow. Sometimes i get lost in stories just like I do if i try and read. BUT I followed this one..Well done Miss Worm..

Miss worm you never disappoint, creepy
Cheers, m’dear. Don’t forget to tune in for the Second Fright tomorrow!
What a wonderful treat! Thank you!
Thank you, Vickie. I hope you enjoy the rest of the Frightful Advent Calendar!
thatd be awesome if we could talk with the deceased through a painted portrait.
Ooh, I dunno. It would give new meaning to ‘the eyes follow you round the room’!
Chilling and compelling!
Thank you, Michael. It makes a nice change to have a vampire…if one can say that about vampires!
@@missworm The cool part is that they never actually say it's a "Vampire."

Glad you liked it. It was a bit naughty of me to use my old passport photos for the artwork, but I couldn’t resist. 😂😉
@@missworm I liked those older passport pictures. Ha!! :0) think it was a good choice :0)
Tee-hee 🤭 I shouldn’t really say things like that, should I? Someone would probably believe it!
@@missworm what?? I believed it!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wish!!
Thankyou sooo much Miss Worm ❤
Hello, Claire. Thanks for listening and taking the time to leave a comment. Much appreciated.
now i have to go to a thriftstore and check out old portrait paintings.
The Miss Worm channel accepts no responsibility for the purchase of haunted paintings, nor any vampiric actions associated therewith.
