SafeCare: Environmental Services - COVID-19

From the first coronavirus patient, our Environmental Services (EVS) teams have been on the frontlines. A few weeks ago, as the hospital played "Here Comes the Sun" for the last COVID-19 patients in the Heart Tower, the EVS team used our ultraviolet light technology, PurpleSun to help disinfect the critical care units to make them coronavirus-free as SIUH began treating critically ill patients and prepares to resume elected procedures.
