I love this format! I got an RGB30 at your recommendation, and am playing Chrono-trigger because you insist (and it’s great). I was a computer-nerd (C64 and Amiga), and never had a console until N64 and PsX, so I don’t know what are good games. @@alekjwrgnwekfgnI don't know what appeals to you, but I hope this helps you find some games you like. It's just some of the titles I found noteworthy from the mid-90s or earlier. I'd definitely recommend making use of save states in some cases, since a lot of old games are really unforgiving. Some are super chill though, like it's fun and relaxing to play a few rounds of Toobin' with a friend, or dump quarters into Gauntlet. In most cases, I'd recommend using the crt/fakelottes shader (a.k.a. "curvature") to make it look more like original hardware. And you might have to adjust the aspect ratio on some arcade games, or turn off decorations if it runs too slow... or check the per-game controls to figure out how stuff works.
This is one of the most graphically timeless games ever made. The 3D models are simple but in a cartoony way, the animations too, super charming and cartoony, the portraits of the characters are so full of life and little details, like tron bonne's when she's on the ship's deck. It's such a wonderful game series if only the controls weren't burning inferno trash. I wish they made a remaster of these games where they changed nothing but the controls.

I’ll definitely have to give this game a shot, I love how in the gameplay there’s a bit of something for everyone! Also absolutely adore the art style 🫶
You know your week's gonna be a good one when it starts with a new RGS video!! 👏 👏 Uhm, it's 8pm here in 🇧🇷 so my week should have actually begun a full workday ago but you get what I mean 😬
Good review! I had a copy of this game ages ago. It was very charming and fun! Although, I never enjoyed those cargo loading levels. The action stages were quite fun and I liked being able to customize the different Servbots. It is a fairly short and straightforward game, but nice to finally get to play as the villain for a change!
Holy crap I completely wiped this game from my memory it seems. Watching this was a blast from the past. Memories just kept coming back as the video progressed. I played this with my best friend when I was 6 can't remember much about the actual game (which is odd, cause I remember other games from this time quite alright) but vividly remember a number of scenes and our reactions to them.
Megaman Legends is one of my favorite games and the first game I always test on these devices, but I never played this one. This video was super cool! Loved the idea of a book club for old games.
One of, if not my absolute favorite game from the ps1. I have a bias as a megaman fan in general, but everything in the legends series was amazing. This one being my favorite of them growing up. Still have the original on my shelf 😊
I remember walking into a game store and my parents buying my sister and I a game each, I got Suikoden 2 and she got this game, if only we knew what we had in the day. Ps1 era is truly one of the best eras of gaming, some games can be hard to go back to now, they don't shine like snes does still today, but it is a magical era. If only this game had been done on the Ps2 it would have been phenomenal, not that it is not already. I am kind of in favor of this game getting a modern remake or sequel, kind of surprising that it did not already, you can play as Tron Bonne in MvC3 though. I don't know if you have played Arcade Paradise but you would probably love it, especially on deck. There is a game on there called Stack Overflow, that should be a real game, but somewhat reminiscent of the dock mini game from this game, although it is not so either, just a good time.
Being part of the Mega Man universe it seems like it should have had more notice or follow up. Mega Man as a whole even being pretty highly rated is still very underrated. I plan on playing through the Battle Network games at some point having only played the first, the legacy collection is a godsend.
I've been picking my way through the MegaMan Legends games now that I've finally bit the bullet and gotten Duckstation up and running on my RP3+. I suppose I ought to take this as a sign to add the odd spin-off sister title to the itinerary.
I still have mine I’m blessed to see and have all NTSC consoles as well as tons of games from 1980-Now its an okay game just expensive now enjoy Tech King
It's a shame Tron Bonne was stuck in the Mega Man Legends universe that Capcom abandoned, I mean aside form her fighting game appearances. The character should have continued on, even if they couldn't bring themselves to complete the mainline Mega Man Legends trilogy, which is a totally separate crime to be discussed.
@@gustavovm491indeed, I was viewing other reviews of other handhelds but I also wanted to play ps2 and n64 so I ended up deciding on this one, but thanks for the suggestion
I wonder when they'll make a video game about me?.🤔 I can see the title now, "Wesker". Where I finally save the world from Claire Redfield and her annoying friends.
Off topic question: Steam Deck Oled Owners : 1tb or 512gb and upgrading the storage by yourself? Honestly if its truly just the storage and the etched display vs the glossy display, I'd prefer the non-etched tbh (but also you can't have enough space on devices). I'd appreciate everyones opinion deeply. Love,❤️🌟❤️
You should! The controls take some getting used to but it's not hard once you do. Load up on healing items and you can keep your health topped up stress free. LMK if you need a hand figuring anything out!
speaking of way too many handhelds, i've realised recently that all I need is the steamdeck (to play literally everything considered retro, with ease) and the Miyoo Mini + (for pocket-able on the go gaming for stuff PSX and under, with fantastic OS) as fun as they are, all these incrementally powerful half-way there handhelds are pretty much a waste of money
I myself grow up with the mastersystem.when around this time i really didn't like the 3d expect of exploring.but for tekken 2 i made a exception.but try asterix ninja gaiden shinobi miracle warriors on the mastersystem great games that i still play this day. Forgot sonic better then the megadrive version mote platform action and alex the kidd in miracle world.
A book club but for video games, what a great idea.
The original Minions before Despicable Me
