War has always been inevitable but the severity of how close we are to war right now is dependent on Russia but also on actions in Northern Israel. We are unfortunately very close to nuclear war both physically and ideologically in the minds of leaders now which is frightening. They want to put all of humanity to an end at a time of great innovation but unfortunately war is inevitable nuclear war will destroy the planet we will all suffer from radiation of starvation if we continue but persistent to political views they use an ideology to push for a greater war with Russia RIGHT NOW? Do you want to live in a destroyed place, many won't live yet they push for war think about that. What is the alternative to more war? Strong borders? Europe can ready its own defenses to counter whatever threat. The world doesn't have to end to save an already ruined desolate wasteland in Ukraine

The key problem with fascism is that the corporation and the state both conspire against the interest of those outside the fascist system which includes the citizens.
It can be a slave state of sorts in this regard because the individual must contend not only with the corporate power but also with state power levied against the interest of the individual.

Lies. And regular peoples have chance for good lives if they mind their own business. Matters of the state are not their concern and their hyperindividualism is worse thing today in the earth because Individualism destroyed nations. I know that america don't care about nation state because they accept everyone but more than 1000 years old countries and tribes in europe cannot allow individualism like its in america also known as falling country. Countries in europe all have their nations that comprise their states. only cursed american model if someone is born somwhere then he is citizen then is dumb. people need to have roots in country where their living several generations atleast befre they start to become native person. Investors are still in denial about the fundamentals of the economy. They expect rares will soon be cut and believe the topline GDP numbers signal a strong economy. However, they dont. Credit card balences are maxed out, more credit is hard to come by for consumers, a ton of companies are about to beforced into refinancing their debs at far higher interest and the regional bank backstop program is out this month. There's also the fact that inflation ticks higher than expected every single time the markets believe a rate cut is around the corner and a rate cut would cause a surge in inflation. The fed sees this stuff, guys. The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, we always over complicate things when we speculate. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... Sure Sr.... but the USA cannot continue to have this huge "military industrial complex" and NEVER use it, thus I agree that it will use it.
The USA, and not others, has a huge incentive, in fact many incentives to use it, starting with attempting to reestablish the dollar as the international currency by law, and not voluntary. If ALL things have a price, then whomever can just print money will want to keep that position at all costs. And I mean ALL costs, considering what the USA has done and has established, and black ops and CIA and black sites and clandestine things and executions and secret prisons around the world, considering all that, then it is saying quite a lot if we now see or imagine the USA is willing to do ANYTHING to keep its position(s) in many areas around the world. What main reason do they always have for war?? economic reasons, covered up with ideology about freedom and democracy, if the country to "free" has resources needed.

Give WHAT to your enemy?? The USA never just gives even in "support" like they do with Ukraine, it is so they can fight that proxy war with Russia, and as Bush said, so we fight them THERE and not HERE in the USA.. the "humanitarian" NGO are really just GOs, they all depend on the gov for survival, and that is in places that the first world wants to keep stable so THEIR economies do not get destabilised.
The USA has no problems "giving it" to some nations, most exports of guns are from the USA.
Sure... industrialized nations have borders they want respected, but they respect NO borders anywhere around the world and will invade under any pretext, assassinations also happen all the tie except we only hear it when they want us to hear it. Also the industrialised world goes into what they derogatorily call the "third world" and destroy their ways of life if it doesn't fit into what they want, destroy ideologies and cultures until they get them dependent on the dollar and the products and ways the first world produces. But in reality those places were already here for centuries before they came!! generation aft generation!! They destroy all of that, then make them desire all the things they say are good and that they produce, but only if they stay there, they don't wan people to come into YOUR country to get it.
It is unrealistic to ask them to wait five to ten years for the LEGAL process to play out and knowing most of them will be rejected and most of those people have no idea where or how to apply and fill the hundreds of forms to apply, and hiring a lawyer is useless, they take the money and never do a thing... some can hardly read!! So that process is expensive and you ask the poorest to spend money on that... just plain stupid. Anytime you have a huge mass of people a few will do bad things, but most go there to make money and survive, just like when the europeans which you do want to come, when they first came I am sure there were a few bad apples, it is impossible to ensure they all will be ok, even with legal immigrants.

Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Yemen, all have been either bombed or invaded illegally by the NATO force. Aside from this atrocious record, it's also a money laundering scheme more than anything else.

@Resmith18SR most Rand "critics" are unaware of the nuance in her books. Dagny showed true altruism towards her sister in law as opposed to the Hank(?), who practiced derp-mode altruism towards his family for much of his life, which didn't help any party. There are plenty of subtle examples across Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead, which, if one had the capacity to read they would be able to draw informed criticism. Most "critics" deride Rand as unreadable and merely regurgitate misunderstood opinions on ego and selfishness.

In the modern financial world the richer one gets becomes inversely proportional to knowledge and wisdom acquiered. It is almost as if they are afraid to speak their mind, and so they read from a script someone else's words, or perhaps they are reading their own words, but in either case they are not saying what they are thinking, as if they are afraid to speak their mind.
Trump is one of the few exemptions and I admire him for that. He does speak his mind, although he is not very knowledgeable. RFK is another one who speaks without reading a script.

28:00 ff. The third way to get rid of debt is to inflate it away. This requires the Fed rate to be below the inflation rate. We are now looking at a normalized inflation of first 3%, then 4%.Along with rate cuts and a reduction in the money supply, this will keep the US economy going for a few more years. I see a rate cut in September and December. This will be part of the late fall stock market bump. We could also get a two-month January bump again in 2025.

NATO was slowly winding down. The violence on the border is what has reinvigorated it. But let us not pretend that Russia is scared of NATO attacking. Finland joined NATO due to the Russian invasion and Russia's response has been to strip the nearby border base's of gear and sent it south. Also let us also not pretend that America alone gets to decide about NATO. The eastern part of Europe, having been invaded by the Russians multiple times and lived under their domination after the second world war. They forced their way in by hook or by crook. This wasn't about what America wanted, it is about they wanted due to their security concerns.

The reason a draft is needed is that there is a 20% shortfall in recruiting for the volunteer military. A draft would only need to fill that shortfall. While women are more suited for ancillary roles (nurses, truck drivers, etc.) in the military it is high time that they be subject to the draft. They have been allowed to live their lives while men had to do the dirty work. Except in wartime, there is only a small chance for anyone to actually be called up. If war happens, it needs to be limited in time.

When the ban on recycling the "spent" fuel rods sitting in storage around the US nuclear plants gets changed there will be a large quantity available to process. France has been recycling for many years as only about 6% is "used up" and the remaining can be repurposed for new fuel rods. The US doesn't recycle for political reasons which make no sense but it's just one example of an economic system controlled by people like Mr. Fink for their benefit.
