The 300 blackout should be 2-5 classes. A 300 blackout is a 308 bullet in a 223 casing. It has a little more power than a 223 but not much. 2-4 would be good for it.
I actually kinda like how the scope view is slightly different on the .300 BLK. I’ll have to see how it feels in-game when it drops, but I like how it looks
to me the 450 is a 200 yard whitetail gun. Hunting in southeast michigan where most of the shots are sub 250 and we can’t use big rifles that’s where that gun comes in. I hunt with a 350 legend and shot a buck at 200 yards broadside. I have the video to show and the buck ran 80 yards. I just can’t see shooting elk with it or anything else really. Black bear i guess as we have them up north but i think that’s just my midwest mentality where we can’t shoot big rifles
.223 needs buffed .243 needs a little buff 6.5 needs a massive buff (should also be changed from 2-7) 7mm needs a slight buff 338 is desperately needing a massive buff (one of the most powerful rounds in use) Many things need changed to bring more realism but I doubt the devs will ever make it happen.
@@winkletown8828 270 could use a slight buff as well. also they need to add a touch more pen for all soft points, just enough to get consistent single lung hits.
The 300 BLK model is based off of the mossberg mvp patrol rifle, and sometimes it has a scout scope platform meaning the scope is a little further ahead, while the model might not show it, the devs might have done something like put the scope mount a little further ahead.
The .375 itself must pack a phenomenal punch because I am a big fan of Soft Point ammo and the .375's soft point ammo is definitely not what I expected in comparison to its Polymer Tips. But I won't have the pack until Tuesday to find out how powerful the rifle itself is but from what I've seen of the stats/ratings for the .375 Soft Points I hope I won't be disappointed.
Man why couldn’t they make the .300 blackout class 2-6. It’s going to be a niche mostly useless rifle being class 3-6. Really would be awesome if they’d change it.
the .375 is probably my favorite caliber/cartridge that cotw has ever released as well as irl. being how iconic the .375 h&h is in real life, i am surprised it took them this long to put their own version of a .375 caliber rifle in the game but nonetheless, i'm just glad it's here now! i don't play much anymore but if i did, that would undoubtedly be my go-to rifle for class 7-9. also, great video as usual flinter keep the goated content coming!
The 375 is going to be in my loadout from now on. I have one in real life and being able to use the same round in the game is fun. As for the other two, it's nice that they're giving such a wide selection for players to use whatever they want to.
It's kind of funny everyone was complaining "Why doesn't the 450 go up to class 8?" then people start using the 450 "This is underpowered for black bear a bit"
that .300 blackout is a mossberg mvp scout ..... .375 h&h magnum kimber 8400 caprivi ..... and last the .450 bushmaster mossberg patriot .... damn sure
I like the guns that load 1 round at a time, rifles and shotguns....... If ya run out and need 1 more shot, ya can interupt the reload after the first round goes in by using ADS. Lets ya get another shot off faster.
I'll be sitting out this weapon pack. .300 Blackout as a 3-6 class rifle will never be used when I can add the .44 rifle for class 3-8. A 4-7 class rifle is another stepchild gun that will never see a loadout. It's just not worth it for a small upgrade from the .300 or .338 to the .375. Thanks for the video.
I kinda stopped caring about that. The game ballistics are so broken and the punishment for mismatch weapon classes are so minimal that it's just .300/.454/compound bow anymore. What's the point of playing their arbitrary game of matching classes when ballistics aren't set up right that makes it less fun. A .375 on deer sounds like something I would do. It doesn't wreck smaller animals like some people think it does. .223 makes a bigger mess.
As someone who uses the 450 irl i wouldnt take a shot over 100 yards with it but over 219 yards is insane to me the drop on the 450 is insane but it's a great caliber I also use the 375 for bear but I use my 450 for white tail just wanted to rant about the elk at 300 m
Only way they could make the .375 better is by giving us a proper double rifle modeled on something from Holland and Holland, or heck a repeating double rifle from Fuchs Fine Guns.
Out of my memory just cause i was hunting red deer on te awaroa the farel goat is the toughest thing at class 3 and a great animal to test 300 blackout on with quartered shots
@randomidiot8142 ok? And it still uses a 30 caliber projectile. So why don't you pick up a reloading book and research (I actually do reload and have a 300blck out)
Typical weapon pack, one "good" gun and 2 turds. 300 blackout should be 2-5 with a max 164 yard (150 meter) zero. It's a slow, weak round. At 100 yards it's only delivering around 1,000 ft/lbs of energy (if even that much).
300bo is 7x32 and 450 is 8x35.. um, what. Yeah, they're like super similar and only slightly different. Like so many other examples where the big differences are in the hidden stats. Game devs, are you for real? I don't think you had a good road map for future upgrades and additions because with every new addition this just gets worse. You're obviously not gun people and you clearly didn't have a good handle on this *kind of important* part of the game when you devised these mechanics or made these plans. You've screwed it up so bad that I don't really care about your new dlcs and additions. It's just broken, I don't want to deal with it, so .300ar/.454/compound is the forever loadout. I don't care about the "ethical harvest" part. It's a game, and playing it your way is less fun. Pardon me while I go finish up rebarreling my 12.7x67 deer rifle.
Flinter is by far the best hunt tuber. Highly skilled. Extremely knowledgeable. Contagiously positive. Concise in editing. And artisicly articulate.
I think they should change the 300 blackout to classes 2-6 and the 450 to classes 3-7 and they would be 10x better
450 is way to powerful for class 3 animals irl. If anything it should be a 4-8. It is ballistically very similar to 45-70 which is a 4-9.
@@billsheppard2433what you said
300 blkout should be 2-6 tho idk why they keep making 3-7 guns. I want a .243 replacement.
@@billsheppard2433yes they could make it 4-8 and make it zero at 200 meters max
They should consider reworking the classes too. Nobody hunts raccoons with a 223 or 243

Why did they not just call the ammo ".300 AAC" or just ".300 BLK"? That's what you see it called in stores.

Hey Flinter! Which camo painting do you use on your binoculars in game?
Was kind of surprised they made the 375 7-9 and not 8-9
The real .375 is to use it on the tankiest animal in the entire game: cape buffalo
When you max the dog, you should see how good they are for Snow Leopards

Is their a problem with way of the hunter? Why havent you played it in the last two months?
No new maps. Not as easy to grind like COTW

Is the .375 better than the AR .300 then?
Can they please add a class 2 gun that can compete with the ranger!
They absolutely should have done the .375, .450 then something for small game like .17 or .222. Idk why so many people wanted the .300 blackout.
I voted 375 and from your video seems they did an awesome job with it, can't wait to try it out. Thanks for showing us the weapons.
