Giannis' 2021 finals wreies performance is a top 3 playoff series performac ever. Averaging 35.2ppg/13.2rpg/5apg/1.8bpg/1.2spg on 61.8% shooting is goat level shit. And the best part 50points/14boards/5 blocks on 60/30/90 splits is one of the greatest performances in nba history.
I watched a video where he compiled all the player stats in all NBA finals to see who should've won Finals MVP regardless if their team won or not and Giannis' 2021 Finals stats was second to Jordan's.. there was even a time where the Finals MVP should've went to someone unknown as he clearly was the best player stat wise during that Finals, but the title was given to Jordan as the Bulls won the series,.

MJ's run in '93, Shaq in 2000 and Giannis' are three of the wildest, most consistent performances I've ever witnessed. It was dominance on a complete level at both ends of the floor.

I was too young to remember MJ & I don't quite remember Shaq's in 2000 either, so to me Giannis' Finals series was the best performance since Wade's in '06. That Wade in '06 was what I'd imagine MJ to be like, it was amazing watching that! For me, Wade's was the best Finals performance I've seen until Giannis came along.

For me personally, Giannis' series performance was the best NBA Finals Series performance since Wade in '06. And this game alone was the best Finals performance I've seen.

@@mikef6429 They're the best I'VE seen. Everyone's allowed to have their own opinion. Just because I said Giannis is the best I've seen since Wade, doesn't mean there weren't any great ones in between, they just weren't better than Giannis' or Wade's imo. Wade & Giannis both took over after Game 2 & never let off the gas, willed their teams to the chip. Both really did it without another marquee superstar, Shaq averaged only 13ppg that Finals. And even though Middleton did great, you wouldn't really say he's on the level of other championship team's 2nd best players.
Overrated. The most free throws in the NBA finals history. Wade was great in those finals, but not the best finals ever. Lebron's finals from 2016 was better, maybe even KD's finals from 2017 was better. Of course Giannis from 2021 and than after that, Wade from 2006.

This was the best finals game i've ever seen anybody play live, hands down. The 50 points was amazing in itself, but I just remember being even more impressed by his defense. There was no way he was letting Bucks lose that night, absolutely no way. What a moment it musta been for bucks fans.
ad y'all have the audacity to say "giannis isn't skilled" man literally hit every shot possible; showed a brilliant display of footwork, pivots, and up/under moves in the paint; contorted his body on eurosteps and spin moves; finished through contact; hit clutch free throws; timed up his chase down blocks perfectly; and displayed great court vision on several touch passes. Skill is more than just handles and 3pt shooting. And some how Giannis still managed to rise to the occasion unlike James Harden.
