I watched during the end of the new era and the whole attitude era into the beginning of 2002. I was in elementary school, junior high and then half way through High School. I wasn't watching at all during this time but I remember seeing that he had been unmasked when his "See No Evil" movie came out when I was finishing college (I think).
The reason i hate that they went with the like mental scaring is that a few years ealire when he was still using the full mask he got attacked by shane triple h and more and they turned kane away from the camera and too his mask off and they made disgusted faces so like....where they also mental...?

*Hot Take:* In case you didn't know, while Kane (while he's unmasked) electrocuted Shane's testicles, someone in the crowd yelled out in one Hilarious fashion, *"Sucks to be you, Dude!!!"* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But I digress, this was peak Ruthless Aggression Rogue Kane, with the Slow Chemical theme, after his brother, Undertaker's Ministry gimmick during the Attitude Era. Those guys were *SUPER Rogue* at the time, and I agree with you, Ross (shout-out to him btw), and Pav that it worked. I saw that when Evolution were running like scalded dogs, Kane Chokeslammed Eric Bischoff through the stage and with that pissed-off look on his face as JR was selling it like crazy. Both he and Taker, as I mentioned during the Attitude Era with the Ministry gimmick, they were *Ultra Rogue,* and it felt like they were like Goku and Vegeta in their respective *Ultra-Instinct and Ultra-Ego* forms at the same time.
