Very helpful! Did you know you can export from Key Note with a transparent background? This negates the need for the green / blue screen function.
Thank you so much! This really helped me so much - so simple and the results are amazing. I would've never thought to use Keynote, so that was a lifesaver! I actually had to redownload keynote because I never used it before. Now... what's left is to see if you have made a video on how to get the audio sound to cow along with it.

@@ShellySavesTheDay I used Photoshop to make the words and boxes for the subscription button and the bell symbol, which I copied from an actually sub button bell. I imported it to Keynote and after playing around with it I finally got something. I exported it then imported it in to Final Cut Pro X, cut it up a little bit more so the transitions were more to my liking and then added sounds to match whch I got off of a sub button video I downloaded from another RUclipsr and have been using. I really like this one you helped me make because I could customize it and put whatever words I wanted to. I added it to the Honolulu Zoo video I was going to release ruclips.net/video/t5Bqc9R6b0c/видео.html it's at about 1:30 after the map intro and then I put it at the end too. I'll keep working on it in hopes I make something really good. I wish I found you before when I was using iMovie to edit my videos! In any case happy to have found you now! =)

Hey Shelly, thanks so much for the info! I was following pretty well and doing it on my keynote, but once I tried to export from keynote to the imovie I didn't see the option for export to imovie. I only see the other ones (pdf,powerpoint,quicktime,html,images and keynote 09) but not sure why I don't have the imovie option....I have a MacBook Air version 10.10.5 . Any feedback would be highly appreciated, thanks !

Thank you for this. A little 'fast' for my liking but fine otherwise. UNFORTUNATELY...I got two-thirds through and then realised I can't install iMovie on my Mac-Air (the Mac App store says it's only suitable for iPad and iPhone). Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Rats! I'm late to the party. I understand how to do everything else but I can't download a subscribe button. Any help would be appreciated.
Go to the search engine Google and type in RUclips Subscribe Button then find a large sized image because it'll be easier to shrink down to the size you're wanting and click on the imagine and view full size and right click and hit save image

Hi @shellysaves each time I transport the object with transparent back, the white section doesn't dispear on the green screen
This still took me so many tries lol thank you. I am working on an iPad so it was a bit more challenging. It can out alright but not perfect. I couldn’t get the arrow in key it to tilt upwards so I had to use a different one. I will keep playing thanks so much

Funny that you mention that! Previously I was always thinking that I would need some software that allows me to create videos with a transparent background and then a video editing software that can work with these kinds of video files. So I never looked for a simpler solution. 😃👍

Although I enjoy your instructional style, I do wish you would have shown the steps it took to make the subscribe button "drop". Did you animate this step by step like the arrow? Or is there an automated "drop" setting? I've looked for a drop motion, but I'm not seeing one so I'm animating step by step. If there's a simpler way, please share. Otherwise, a super useful and helpful video. Thanks.

Great video! This helped me actually understand the placement of the crop feature! I didn't know you could change your position with the crop feature..

So, so far I'm just waiting. Been communicating back and fourth and everything has been worked out. Haven't felt any major red flags, other then it's a product from another country.
