I discovered some very useful new king tech from counter hits df2,1. After the df2,1 do d3. After the d3 you are in perfect range to do the following on wake-up
- a Jaguar spin into 4 , this gives you +8 frames on block. So you can go for a grab or hop kick if you think your opponent will duck.
-jaguar spin 2, and go for a mid grab.
- you can do a CD 2+3 into multi throw of your choice...2,1, 3+4 or 1, 2 ,1+2 and get another Oki attempt since they will be face down
These are perfect mind games and I guarantee the opponent 90% of the time will eat one of those options.
2:37 nice parry here. But why is king parry not used much? I use it every other round.
Parrys are more risky to do as you can't break throws while parrying, so that's why I think
Kings parries are so specific gotta have a good read like he did with Shaheen going for that overhead move

Would love to have a breakdown of the decision to use the reversal in round 3 vs the shaheen player in the first set. REALLY would love a detailed breakdown on the strings and common situations that come up where the reversal/parry can be effective. I had a few strings that I would reverse like crazy in T7 but they don’t work the same in 8😭
From my experience that's the most common option Shaheen uses after heatsmash on block but you can interrupt it with a ws4 or in this case king parry

Hi! Why you dont do fc df2 3xf3 instead you prefer 4 2 3? And maybe found new stuff. Uf 4 4 f3 (if male f 3 should connect before fall and press 2 with delay on highest point) 2 b12 2 shinewizzard (73 damage) if female 12 uf 3+4 (72 damage) instead of 69.

Not anytime soon. Just got married and have to plan a honeymoon before even thinking about traveling to a tournament. I competed for 23 years so my time for that is dwindling.
