How lucky you are to have such a great ship and be on this incredible program. I went Fall 90 and it was the most impactful experience of my life so much so that my daughter will be going next Fall. She was supposed to go last year but w/ Covid the itinerary changed. Thanks for posting and live and love every moment of SAS. It will change you in a good way forever. No one can understand unless they go. I can’t wait to come back to SAS as an adult adventurer or whatever they call it these days. Have a great semester
Hey! Meghan I really enjoyed watching your first week of my class vlog so so much you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 20K Subscribers very very soon!☺️☺️✨
Hey, S87 Voyager here. Welcome to the SAS family! You're going to have an epic semester. Not sure where your cabin crew are from, but their English and their service improve immediately with a $$$ tip. We found it was best to tip early in the cruise rather than later. Just a thought to keep in mind. Your ship, itinerary, and onboard experiences (meals, classes, shopping) are so radically different from mine, I can see that already, but I'm looking forward to seeing your experiences from your vlogs.
Is this cruise specifically for college students? Or is it with other tourists too those who don’t attend college. I’m honestly curious never heard of semester at sea
Based on where you were, the dorsal fin and the swimming pattern, I actually think those were short fin pilot whales! Dolphins tend to be shorter, faster and have a more pointed dorsal fin. Those were also very dark which is atypical for a full pod of dolphins. Short fin pilot whales are also well known in that area. I'm a marine biologist, and I've done a little marine mammal work in northern Europe, but by no means are cetaceans my area of expertise so this could be wrong 😅
Had a dream last night that I was in grad school on a cruise ship. I’m currently looking into it now. B.A. In Geography so I’m sure there’s programs for me.
Hi!! Idk if you know the answer to this cause it’s kinda random but do people get sea sick on such a big boat or is that not an issue? I’m thinking abt applying but I get sea sick and have never been on a boat that size so idk if it would still happen lol
i personally didnt know anyone that dealt with sea sickness, you do feel the boat rocking though. lots of people will bring sea bands or patches and the clinic has sea sickness meds for free!
