You can make that work in java. The issue is it's needs to auto reset or Tango will have to go and manually reset it every time someone runs the dungeon.
It’d be a cool feature if some rooms were closed off sometimes, forcing you to take a different route. So hermits don’t get too comfortable with the layout of the dungeon

I've had a bunch of ideas and i wrote them down here: - you can call it the decked out dungeon -for the wither set, hide 3 wither skulls around the dungeon. if you acquire all 3 wither heads, you can put it into this 'alter' to get the unique wither artifact. -guardian set: common: tropical fish uncommon: prismarine shards rare: sponge unique: conduit -a 'lounge' where hermits can hang out while they wait for someone to finish a dungeon that has gambling machines and whatnot. - you can make the entrance to the dungeon through the nether giving it a more alternate dimension vibe -you can make puzzles to get artifacts, for example: by activating a combination of sticky pistons and pistons, the player has to get a block of concrete powder to the end of the puzzle to unlock an artifact - a card called hermit that opens up secret safe-rooms for the player to hide in. - to avoid loosing items if players fall into lava, use the ol' water under lava trick so the player can escape unscathed. Then kill them in an alternate method that can suck up their items... -skeletal set: common: arrow uncommon: bone rare: spectral arrow unique: skeleton skull - a parkour course over trees to get artifacts - a 'nightmare' mode: this is an optional mode that turns the dungeon into an unbeatable hellscape. cards will only work at max level, a 100% chance for clank to get generated every time you touch a pressure plate, you immediately start with some clank, Traps are more evident than ever, paths are blocked, ravengers are buffed up, pretty much all odds are against you. *BUT*, the loot gain will be immense with loot in just about every corner, if you live to tell the tale, you may become one of the highest ranking players in the game. hope you read this, cheers! Great ideas, hope Tango sees this one! Some aspects of your "Nightmare Mode" are unfeasible in survival, but the concept is still solid. The altar, puzzle and lounge ideas stood out the most, and the lava under water one would be hilarious to watch hermits go through, as the hermits would first think they are dead, then they would not and be relieved, and then their hopes would be dashed.
Tango you could block up different passageways of the dungeon on different days so the layout somewhat changes, and it doesn't get repetitive. You could also add a story element to the dungeon.
You could have some scary theme song that played whenever the hermits entered the maze, and also just random noises that sounds like "clanc" but isn't to scare the hermits even more

Idea for tango: Leave the main room ceiling rather dark and use blackstone and basalt to form an upside down delta for the ceiling. I think it will add to the spooky atmosphere!
I'm imagining walking through the dungeon and as soon as I enter a new room I hear in Tango's typical friendly/happy voice: "Hey there buddy! Welcome to the Soul Garden!" or "Howdy Hermit! Welcome to the Lava Pit of Certain Death!"
Grian started the "Mumbo for Mayor" campaign before the HermitCraft mayor was even a thing. I think Tango should start a "False for NetherLord" campaign.
Idea for Tango - Make the dungeon have somemore upperlevels and lower levels so when people are following the compass it might lead them to the right area but not the right floor

Cards: Camouflage: a card that randomly splashes you with invis potions. It increases with every level. Static charge: lights turn on when you enter a room or corridor, amount of lights turned on increase with every level Marker: lights up redstone lamps wherever you move. The higher the level the longer they stay lit
The underside of a smithing table is a really nice ceiling along with the top side for a floor that could even go along side crying obsidian! Some of the most underrated decorative textures!

Leave traces of the ravagers' destruction. (crumbled throne, holes broken in the walls, decimated fountains or statues, etc.) Make it feel like a story. The hermits should be able to envision the dungeon's history. A good game has heaps of lore!

Idea: You could occasionally “update” the game, where you add a new feature (Traps, cards, section of the map, etc) without telling anyone, to make it more exciting.
I'm still hoping for an underwater themed section, maybe for the entry section? Edit: maybe over the lava section, parts of the bridge could randomly "crumble away"

I love how each quadrant has a specific characteristic to the layout! a lot of corridors for blackstone, wide open for nature, sprawling and random fro the classic dungeon and larger rooms for the nether part.
Digging out enormous holes is par for the course on Hermitcraft, so it isn’t too notable. I’m sure they’ll hear about it more as Tango actually uses the hole for this project
every update of this game in every video and stream, i've been constantly blown away by how complex and intricate the game is,,, i cant wait to see how it develops and turns out!!
I have a tiny suggestion: hide a lot of parrots in the walls and ceiling to create an atmosphere with the noises they make. Some jump scares always happen around then when you least expect And other mobs too, zumbis, witches and skeletons, just hidden just for the noise and suspicion of the player It's looking great. Would love to play it!
Some card ideas if you want: heavy hitter (strength) - Commando (night vision) - locksmith (opens certain secret shortcut passageways) - frost feet ( makes all water turn to ice so basically frost Walker boots) - guardian angel ( a super rare card that's only comes one that gives you a 2nd life with a totem of undying) - Enlightening (stops the spawners from spawning the zombies and skeletons) - bulletproof (disables any arrow shooting dispensers) - sharp ears (triggers a series of note blocks hinting the players at the location of a treasure) Originally commented on the last vid Like so be can see this❤

Tango I have some ideas for the card sets -A winter set (Based off of the mountain) -A dark set (which could be part of the darkstone/ soul sand areas, you could hide some behind the soul fire) -A beast set (which could be found hidden close to where the spawners are hidden) Just a few ideas I had!
I really like this! One suggestion: how about incorporating riddles in this too? it could be randomly chosen, from a dispenser in a riddle chest or just given to them at the beginning of the game. it could lead the hermits to a specific spot in the dungeon where they would find a healing potion or a type of armor.

What is elvic? I tried to google it but only got Elvis. And I don’t think he will use an artifact that could be used as weapons or armor while in the dungeon though I could be wrong. The geologist set sounds cool though.
Suggestion for the game: You should make secret room with map of the corridors and mark some of the loot spots or traps or something but the hermits will not be allowed to take the map so they would have to remember the way. I know it would be a lot of work to make the map but it would be cool. Btw sorry if tango said that he's planning something similar to this in the video I wrote it before I watched it.

It's really cool seeing that with his Season 7 videos, Tango gets about 450k views, which is pretty much double his Season 6 view count. Keep up the good work, Tango!
I love the way this is turning out! Some of my ideas: - ice or frozen section (only if you plan on expanding it more). There could be some of the snowy skeletons hidden to shot at you every once in a while. - In the nether nether section there could be piglins and hoglins just running around like ravagers and you cold keep them from escaping to other parts of the game with soulfire torches and warped moshroms -chicken set: Common - father Uncommon - raw chicken Rare - egg Unique - chicken head A special “quest” to find a map pointing to like 3 loadstones. That you would have to flick levers all throughout the dungeon to make it pop up in one random barrel or chest. - You could make some corridors close behind you as you go trough them (and generate clank)
Chicken set the common should be egg and the rare feather. You could also do other mobs like cow milk, beef, leather, head. Spider string, eye, poison potion, head.
The nether section could also include zombified piglins if Tango wants more disposable mobs. He could coordinate with false so he could build some nether portals from which he can have naturally spawning zombified piglins. The portals would be closed off to the player though.
Tango this is absolutely the most amazing Minecraft game I have ever seen. It is going to be a fun and engaging while causing shananagains with the other hermits. Keep up the amazing work
You know what 'could' be a cool (but rather useless) addition to the Decked Out game? If you incorporated some kind of over-arching story elements to it. Have lore books hidden around the dungeon, perhaps from the viewpoint of an unnamed adventurer. Tell a story that is slowly expanded upon as the game grows older and older. Have the Hermits try and collect those parts of the story and piece it al together, or something along those lines. ;p
I’d love to see a lot of hermits in some position of power! Imagine False as the secretary of defense, or grian as the secretary of public construction Put people in charge of creating an emergency “you died and wound up at world spawn” area, where people can get food, quick armor, etc, so they can get to their stuff again Scar could extend his power to the nether, or someone else gets power in the nether The possibilities are endless!

the crawling one could get an elytra to double jump into a small space or have a trapped door the carry around with them

Camouflage: a card that randomly splashes you with invis potions. It increases with every level.
Static charge: lights turn on when you enter a room or corridor, amount of lights turned on increase with every level
Marker: lights up redstone lamps wherever you move. The higher the level the longer they stay lit

It would probably need to be done with pressure plates (the same ones that trigger clanks), so i think it would have to work on ravengers too

The underside of a smithing table is a really nice ceiling along with the top side for a floor that could even go along side crying obsidian! Some of the most underrated decorative textures!
1 thing: ravagers can break wood and leaves, and if they agro in the forest part of the map will be wrecked.

@@macs.9644 Ravagers can only destroy crops, grass, flowers, and others similar to them. They'll do nothing with leaves and logs.

Leave traces of the ravagers' destruction. (crumbled throne, holes broken in the walls, decimated fountains or statues, etc.) Make it feel like a story. The hermits should be able to envision the dungeon's history. A good game has heaps of lore!

Idea: You could occasionally “update” the game, where you add a new feature (Traps, cards, section of the map, etc) without telling anyone, to make it more exciting.

Tango, you might be able to get a scary or epic song for the dungeon into the server like the Mumbo Jumbo for Mayor song and then play it all over the dungeon. It would give it a LOT of character!

I love how each quadrant has a specific characteristic to the layout! a lot of corridors for blackstone, wide open for nature, sprawling and random fro the classic dungeon and larger rooms for the nether part.
I love how tango built a huge hole underground and barely any other hermits know about it
Digging out enormous holes is par for the course on Hermitcraft, so it isn’t too notable. I’m sure they’ll hear about it more as Tango actually uses the hole for this project

every update of this game in every video and stream, i've been constantly blown away by how complex and intricate the game is,,, i cant wait to see how it develops and turns out!!
I have a tiny suggestion: hide a lot of parrots in the walls and ceiling to create an atmosphere with the noises they make.
Some jump scares always happen around then when you least expect
And other mobs too, zumbis, witches and skeletons, just hidden just for the noise and suspicion of the player

Some card ideas if you want: heavy hitter (strength) -
Commando (night vision) - locksmith (opens certain secret shortcut passageways) - frost feet ( makes all water turn to ice so basically frost Walker boots) - guardian angel ( a super rare card that's only comes one that gives you a 2nd life with a totem of undying) - Enlightening (stops the spawners from spawning the zombies and skeletons) - bulletproof (disables any arrow shooting dispensers) - sharp ears (triggers a series of note blocks hinting the players at the location of a treasure)

Main room ceiling could use the underside of smithing tables. They have a gorgeous red texture.
Tango I have some ideas for the card sets
-A winter set (Based off of the mountain)
-A dark set (which could be part of the darkstone/ soul sand areas, you could hide some behind the soul fire)
-A beast set (which could be found hidden close to where the spawners are hidden)
Just a few ideas I had!

I really like this! One suggestion: how about incorporating riddles in this too? it could be randomly chosen, from a dispenser in a riddle chest or just given to them at the beginning of the game. it could lead the hermits to a specific spot in the dungeon where they would find a healing potion or a type of armor.

5:50 - Gonna be interesting seeing all of that fit into that space. The more you mention, the smaller the room feels.
Suggestion for the game:
You should make secret room with map of the corridors and mark some of the loot spots or traps or something but the hermits will not be allowed to take the map so they would have to remember the way.
I know it would be a lot of work to make the map but it would be cool.
Btw sorry if tango said that he's planning something similar to this in the video I wrote it before I watched it.

Some of my ideas:
- ice or frozen section (only if you plan on expanding it more). There could be some of the snowy skeletons hidden to shot at you every once in a while.
- In the nether nether section there could be piglins and hoglins just running around like ravagers and you cold keep them from escaping to other parts of the game with soulfire torches and warped moshroms
-chicken set:
Common - father
Uncommon - raw chicken
Rare - egg
Unique - chicken head
A special “quest” to find a map pointing to like 3 loadstones. That you would have to flick levers all throughout the dungeon to make it pop up in one random barrel or chest.
- You could make some corridors close behind you as you go trough them (and generate clank)
Chicken set the common should be egg and the rare feather. You could also do other mobs like cow milk, beef, leather, head. Spider string, eye, poison potion, head.

The nether section could also include zombified piglins if Tango wants more disposable mobs. He could coordinate with false so he could build some nether portals from which he can have naturally spawning zombified piglins. The portals would be closed off to the player though.

I think you should give the players a different pick then a diamond because when the player dies their stuff will despawn.

You know what 'could' be a cool (but rather useless) addition to the Decked Out game? If you incorporated some kind of over-arching story elements to it.
Have lore books hidden around the dungeon, perhaps from the viewpoint of an unnamed adventurer. Tell a story that is slowly expanded upon as the game grows older and older. Have the Hermits try and collect those parts of the story and piece it al together, or something along those lines. ;p
