That's so cool! I'm not Navajo, but I've been going to the rez for summer missions for ten years. The old peoplr I meet are always saying that young people have no respect for their culture and language. I'm glad that you have these videos to help people connect with their culture.

I first heard this story by Geri Keams who is a Diné actress and storyteller and then i found it in the Dine Bahaneʼ by Paul G, Zolbrod. I love the story and especially the part where the twins meet Spider Woman.

Excellent work daybreakwarrior. Keep up the good work. I especially like your story telling abilities, makes learning Navajo much easier. By the way, I do have a few phrases I might find useful. "Please take a deep breath and hold it". "Breathe normally". "Breath out, and don't breathe"(hold the exhale) "roll over""what is your date of birth?" "any possibility you are pregnant?" Thank you...too much I know! but those would be great to know.

it's not the whole story, but nice. now days out Dinah people are lost, some dress like plains Indians, some go to peyote meetings and still a lot to be added to the list. sad that our people don't keep anything sacred no more.
