It's interesting that Michael will get a Super Bowl trailer despite releasing a trailer today
A lot of studios will do that. They’ll have their “Super Bowl trailers” but they actually drop them a few days early so they can get the online views and not have to compete with the other trailers dropping the same day.
Why? There’s people who may not catch the trailer so showing it to the biggest crowd of the year is a no-brainer
@SneaksBL uh they should just release on the same day at the Super Bowl and online why do it a week earlier that’s what makes Super Bowl trailers cool now there just regular trailers they post a week before anyways

with regards to Spider-Man's lack of marketing, dont forget how late Sony decided to start marketing No Way Home, like 4ish months until it actually came out. im assuming Sony is just banking on this movie being another guaranteed billion dollar movie
I get that but then again I feel the situation between No Way Home and Brand New Day is different. After Far From Home’s cliffhanger there was so much built up hype for the third movie (especially since endgame hype in early 2019 carried over) to where they definitely didn’t need to market it that much. They also were quite secretive of the third movie (since Maguire and Garfield were in it). Not to mention when they revealed No Way Home title that was enough hype alone.
Brand New Day though is coming out 5 years after No Way Home. Marvel also hasn’t had that much hype after no way home so to me I feel like Sony should be marketing quicker than usual. Sure spider man name is popular but it hasn’t been talked about a lot after No Way Home.
My thought for why they haven’t had a trailer yet is that they want doomsday to have a bigger spotlight (especially more early on) given the amount that is at stake with that movie.
@Magra1215I believe their just using most their budget to make the movie as best as they can, and don’t want to waste money promoting and teasing the movie when people will just leak it for free and build even more hype/suspense, also I feel the “cliffhanger”/ending of NWH was way more exciting and suspense building than FFH, FFH every js found out who he was, but in NWH everyone in every universe forget who he was, including Andrew and Tobeys universe was affected by the spel
remember when they dropped the far from home teaser in may right before endgame (and gave a warning about spoilers) but STILL held the early july release date?? that was such a fast turnaround, because we were still recovering from endgame and talking about it thru june, then boom- new Spider-Man movie is suddenly out.
I really hope this film doesn’t disappoint

@stevieb274 yeah I mean people are just hungry for the actual Trailer cause those teasers were just the first glimpses of what's to come during December so and yeah BND Trailer should have been released and marketed as of now but they're still working on the reshoots and cg stuff so gonna take a while for the that actual teaser to come.

It does hurt that we're not getting a Doomsday trailer but understandable given how Marvel was recently happy with how the 4 stories (Russos confirmed this) performed. Even without showing Dr. Doom. Sony was obviously not gonna attend so IDK why people were expecting BND at the Superbowl
