Fiddle head fern commonly called 'niguro' in Nepali is the most consumed vegetable in Nepal during Monsoon season. It has been used in culinary purpose from several decades ago by Nepalese people. We may or may not know, but it has several nutritional and health benefits.
It contains carbohydrates, protein and fiber in abundant amount.. Along with this, it is loaded with K, Fe , Niacin, Vitamin C, several antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids, beta carotene which helps us to fight against several diseases which make this vegetable a miracle vegetable of Nepal.
