Just a little bit of correction: "Anata no omokage wo motomete wo" is not grammatically correct. It would be "motomete mo". But that's fine. Just wanted to inform!
I've never seen -te followed by -wo... -temo indicates a completely different meaning (inclusion of a verb, no?) I know what you mean; mo is an inclusion particle while wo is for direct objects. Mo can indicate wo implicitly. But motometemo, in this case, would mean "to even ask" or something along those lines, right? Regardless, thank you for the correction. I would like to know how -wo and -mo are so similar. Because everywhere I've used them... I'm struggling to see how they're arguably interchangeable.
The generational difference, this type of content was shunned 10 years back on public eye and just never recovered enough to hit the public markets later on.

You definitely, need to at least watch the first season of Rozen Maiden to watch Rozen Maiden Zurücksupulen because you most likely wouldn't understand anything. Zurückspulen and Träumend are both sequels, but Träumend is not canon. If you want the storyline to make sense, do not watch Träumend. The best example I can give is Kuroshitsuji. The first season follows the manga, the second does not and after a few years they released a season that now follows the manga again. Visually, it might be the best option to do that because you wouldn't have to switch between the old and the new animation style (which is very very different).

After 5 years and learning a bit of Japanese I was finally able to find this song after originally hearing it in a Digimon fan show.
I don't know why I have never heard of Rozen Maiden before I first got into anime years ago. So glad I took my time to get into this series c:
