OMG DEVON! I WANT TO EXPRESS MY DEEP GRATITUDE FOR THE VALUABLE (priceless!!!!) INFO YOU’RE SHARING HERE JUST FOR FREE. JUST OMG I literally wanna cry because of how useful it is for me right now. I’ve watched 5-6 of your videos in a row, all because I’m hosting a huge international conference for English teachers here in Kazakhstan , and I’m just an English teacher myself without much of an experience of hosting events whatsoever . I decided to go for it and take the chance, because I’ve been wanting to speak in public and be on stage for a while now. Hence, I didn’t even know what to start with, how to write a script and so on. Now THANKS TO YOUR VIDEOS I have a clear picture and an idea on my mind. There are only 5 days left and I’m a bit less worried now. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I am going for an Audition for an MC for an event for a group called bone thugz n harmony. Who happens to be my favorite group ever. This is my first time doing this but I have some of the best energy of anyone I know and meet. I’m excited and I am glad to be going for an audition for this so thank you for this content that you have provided if there are any other suggestions or comments that you might be able to provide for a first time or going for an audition, I will be looking for, a response message and hopes that you might take a minute to help guide me along this journey coming up in two days

Sorry for the delay in reply (I've been hosting an event out of the country and just getting back to checking comments ! I hope it all went well. What I was going to say is that the people holding auditions are looking for a solution - so as opposed to saying " I hope I get it"... Frame it (for yourself) as "I'm here to be their solution). I hope that makes sense.

I find that many strategies for public speaking are simply the ways for promoting, marketing, advertising...
It's all about Communication...Good Communications will attract through captivating or curiosity...Ask Questions to engage the listener/hearer or seers mind with the material or content being "Presented"...i.e. "find something in the maze or collage...then award that person some kind of status for finding it first...Waalaaa....One Person engaged...
Competition always spurs Interest...if it's related to them...
People love Listening to anything that relates, resonates with their heart, mind, spirit, soul....
Asking an audience to answer questions about their lives...
So Much Can be Incorporated and Cross Utilized from the field of marketing and promottions...to the activity of physical presentations.
