    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Five years ago, if you saw a guy walking around town in golf shoes you’d probably laugh at him.
It’s just not something you do.
But these days, that’s all changed.
There’s a handful of companies that have embraced the idea of the “all day” golf shoe.
These are shoes that perform well enough to wear on the course, but look and feel more like regular street shoes.
They still represent a pretty small niche in the world of golf, but for the right person, having a pair of all day shoes in your golf (and street) wardrobe can truly be a game changer.
In this list of the best all day golf shoes I’m going to share with you 5 of my favorite options on the market. Each of these serves a slightly different purpose, so one may or may not be the right fit depending on what you’re looking for. Here you'll find offerings from TRUE Linkswear, Allbirds, and G/FORE - as they are making some of the best golf shoes that you can wear both on and off the course.

This is more of an example infomercial! No FJ or adidas is strange, especially as you can get adidas for less than half the price of any True shoe, plus far more comfortable

I trust your information 100%. I have not made a bad decision since considering your research. I do like the Johnston Murphy shoes best of all!!! Great work brother!

Id like to see more golf shoe reviews... I like your take on these. An all day golf shoe that lets you go from the office to the course would be ideal,... The travel all day golf shoe that does it all is a great category too. Nice

I own 6 pairs of the True All Day Knit II and I wear them more than any other shoe casually. I play with them in the summer and have walked 36 with no problem - in fact, I like the minimalist / zero drop ergonomics way more than walking in a traditional shoe. The traction is pretty much terrible if the grass is damp, but otherwise I think they are plenty stable if you have stability in your swing. Also they leak like a sieve in any rain. I often play in the Ripstop and think that shoe is the best balance of traction, comfort and stability, but they don’t hold up to anything beyond a drizzle. I also don’t find them to be nearly as comfy or aesthetically appropriate for everyday wear. The Lux Hybrid is my next purchase! Enjoyed the overall review of options… thanks!

Foot Joy made a great pair of all day golf leather shoes that were all weather but unfortunately they discontinued them. Thanks for the info.

Yeah Footjoy has had some good stuff in this department. The Flex is a solid shoe, but not one I'd personally wear off the course. The Contour Casual on the other hand look excellent, and definitely a great alternative to the FS-02 In the video.

Hey sir, I’m new to your community and was just wondering what are your favorite golf courses? I saw on your website you have a count of played courses. I would love to see which ones you played the cost and may be a list of your favorites. Haha not trying to add work to your plate, just interested. Love the reviews btw

Loved the True Knit II except the back tab cuts into my achilles tendon. Many reports on this issue. IDK if the III has resolved the problem.

Jordan 1 low not being there is surprising.. color options, looks great with pants or shorts..and only $150 or less during sale times..

Uhhh I’m pretty sure walking around on concrete, asphalt, hot concrete etc doesn’t bode well for the bottom of your golf shoe. I need traction for my back foot when hitting a golf shot. Might as well just play in a running style shoe which is comfortable and probably cheaper than some of these?

Curious on your thoughts on the Jordan ADG 4? Doesn’t fully fit this topic (despite being “All Day Golf” in the name)

Honestly, I haven't worn them. But I've personally always been a fan of Nike golf shoes. I feel like the're usually fairly predictable. With these I'd expect to run slightly narrow, be comfortable and have B+ on course performance. They're something I'd personally be willing to pick up as a fan of the brand - but like I said, I haven't tested in person so this is all not actually that useful feedback :)

@@breakingeighty Thank you! I haven’t seen much content on them as far as on course review, so I was curious if you had tried them. I’m a huge fan of the looks of them, just wasn’t sure if that translated to experience as well.

I did your shoe quiz and you did not ask the most important question for me, fit. I have a wide foot and need a square toe box.
Who makes a shoe for my needs ? New Balance?

The True OG 1.2. The have other wide toe box shoes as well. But if you’ve never worn zero drop shoes, they take a little bit to get used to. You are very connected to the ground. Almost feel like you’re rocking backwards because we have gotten so used to wearing shoes with a lot of build up

You should look at some of the true models or I just tried the Ecco LT1 yesterday and found that very roomy in the toe area

not a fan of all the spikeless shoes that seems to be the trend and most shoes look like senior citizen orthotics'.

So....which shoe company is paying you hahaha. Wearing them not on the golf course wears them out so much faster and therefore you're buying more shoes... cement is the number 1 killer on spikeless shoes

I've tried several models of True, and I wouldn't buy any of them. Little to no mid foot support, minimal traction on the sole, and way overpriced.

    • @henwy3737
      @henwy3737 2 месяца назад

I don’t know what you mean by mid foot support so won’t comment on that but True’s traction is great, I never have any problems. They are expensive but they run big sales a lot, I buy when they’re 40 or even 50% off. That said I’m moving away from true both for a chance in style but more importantly waterproofing. I’ve yet to have a true shoe that was truly waterproof, including the Lux Hybrid which he names as his best shoe. It is a great shoe but still hasn’t been fully waterproof for me.
