I totally agree with a poor strategy of the auction team,picking all of angkrish,rahul tripathi,nehal wadera. Is so so stupid because neither will have shot at the playing xi. But actually they two things right out of the four,that is 1)foreign opening wk(gurbaz,rickelton(especially rickelton,i rate him high),and 2) spinners(WE DIDNT NEED ALL OF THEM,but yea we needed atleast two of prolly these four,the money of the other two spinners and the two indian middle order batters should have been used on 3)overseas outright finisher(rutherford,jacob,livingstone)
4)overseas pace attack(however im impressed with jansen as well in the team,as he satisfies a left armer and can slog too,but definetly needed more overseas seamers as that has been an identity of MI.
Overall i see the strategy as a 6/10,but however because of the core they retained. It just needs a decent auction really to pull a 9/10 team and to be champions. Its that easy and yes i admit the strategy was poor also lesser then decent,i still believe the team is a 8.25 on front in a whole. These scores are also numerically analysed if you want it,i can discuss about that too. Thank you for asking

Anyway Mumbai needs to play Jansen... What if he had a minor set back... What will Mumbai do then... In this auction Mumbai did very badly... No doubt about that... Mumbai retained 5 players but needed 7 more to play... That should be considered for rating along with backups for all the players... 8.25 for Mumbai along with RR is a bad rating...
