This was such a fun video! I loved the editing, the music and sound effects really added a lot. Building the carriages upside down was a very smart move. It was great seeing the design process and the build process. Can't wait to see what's next!

I was so close to guess what were you building but you inspire me and besides I love the lego Thomas and friends
Very interesting to see the development process from start to finish as well as the cool snot techniques. I'm interested to see the carriages go over points because I've also recently been building upside-down and in the past I've noticed the Lego logo on the studs of the wheel brackets sometimes get caught on surfaces at track height.

This is great. Your collection is coming along nicely. Not to mention, you can make the red branchline coaches like this too. Annie and Clarabels weren't the only models made, there were non faceless orange and Red ones too. Just a suggestion

I'd have to alter how this is built to make express coaches or anything like that, due to how the livery would have to be built. But we'll get there!

I think in a previous build (I think Troublesome Trucks) you said when it comes to Lego anything is possible, and I think that’s evident here! These look fantastic and the upside down build style was brilliant! The orange works surprisingly well, and reminds me of s1 to 4, the faces give off a s3 vibe which I LOVE!

I'm also starting to get into mini 4 stud wide Lego trains and building them
Edit: I've now built a 4 stud wide Thomas the tank engine that with swapping out the original wheels and wheel holder will run of 4 stud wide Lego track

Have you know that in Railway Series, Annie and Clarabelle are 4 axel coaches? And as your subscriber I remind you that 1980s Glasgow subway train would be great 4 studs build!

Nice. As for the orange on the stickers not being a full match, well, even Lego has troubles with this color (and others) not being consistent. Some 1 x 2 bricks in the finished models are also a darker shade orange than other parts.
For the stickers you could try getting the color right or use clear stickers with the print to feature the exact lego color :)

What I would’ve done was use clips to hold a bit of flex tube going all the way along the side, representing the little step thingy thing-thing

3:44 but yeah it's supposed to be empty, due to rolling stock wheels being like tender wheels and not driving wheels.
I meant empty around the wheels, which normally would have supporting beams and axles!
Unless you really want them to look accurate You could argue that they look similar to the motorized versions from 1993

I would have done the stickers as waterslide decals so they could have been on a transparent film instead of having to color match the bricks as a sticker.
That may have been better. Problem with that is you can't print white on transparent sheets. I'll try reprinting them one way or another!
Very nice, don't know much about using decals, but could you use transparent sheet with the letters and face printed on it? That would solve the color variation from sticker and lego.
It would, but you can't print white onto it. Or at least I couldn't!

Actually the original height of the coaches before heightening them was more accurate.
Thomas is supposed to be much taller than his coaches, at least in the model era
He still is taller! The buffer heights did not match before

I just noticed that the person who "helped" you discover that wheel technique (don't know what to call it) had blue wheels on his Thomas model. Looks like he decided to do that.
He specifically built the entire model in medium azure so that the wheels would match colour. I chose to build the model in dark azure as I preferred how that colour matched Thomas's.
