The rams games are interesting because a lot of people kinda forget that they were a mediocre team most of the season last year and got hot beating up on a pretty soft schedule towards the end of the season. Yeah they had a good win week 1 against us and week 10 but If Geno played that whole game we win. They lost their best player this offseason in Aaron Donald. Then you also add in the fact that Mcvay can’t bully Carroll anymore and to me these two games are very interesting.
Last year, if Myers makes a field goal, it's the Seahawks in the playoffs and not the Rams
Fuck the rams they are NOTHING without Aaron Donald
This is a straight up false comment the rams where the second youngest team in the league last season and started the year with out there best reciever for the first 4 games. They had rookies they needed to rely on early and got through the hardest part of there schedule with a .500 record. They beat the Seahawks ass, lost to the niners by 7 points, lost to the bengals by 3 points, beat the colts, lost to the eagles by 9 points and beat the cardinals ass. They got to there bye week and got healthy and went 8-1 down the stretch only losing to the ravens in OT, they were far from mediocre last year
@@QB1SamHowellanother lie
The rams been whooping Seattles ass before Pete carrol so what are you talking about
Totally agree that at Chicago is a gotcha game. Shane Waldron revenge game proving he should have been kept on. We replaced him with a guy that has never called a play in the NFL. ("I'll take what's behind door #2 thank you") In the preseason, looking forward to watching Derrick Hall get 30 NFL snaps against Joe Alt. That will probably form my opinion on Derrick Hall for the year. Then the first game (on a positive note). If we don't beat Bo Nix starting his first game ever on the road with probably the most dumbed down simplified offense (even more than Russ got it dumbed down) on an overall bad team with no weapons, then our coaching staff is in big trouble after game 1.
Yes, if we can't win convincingly Week 1, I'll be worried. Doesn't matter if we have a new coach or not, our team is way more talented and skilled.
Unless the bears have alot of injuries the hawks are definitely losing that game
I can't wait for the SNF game against the packers
Maybe I’m being optimistic but I see 10-12
let’s not forget we was 9-8 last season with a god awful defense so imagine what we can do with at MINIMUM a average defense we can def win at least 10 games
10 wins maximum
We gonna dominate this season !! Let’s go hawks !!!!
We play all 6 qbs taken in the first 12 pics.
my only wish is that we have a secured playoff spot going into week 18. i'm so tired of fighting for a spot in week 18 lol. we barely made it 2 years ago, and we blew our chance last year by losing a couple very easy games throughout the season.
possibly playing 2 rookies right away is really nice though.
Gonna be the same situation this year too
Guaranteed
Hawks will be fighting to get in all the way to the last game
@@DREADEYE_KNIGHT the only saving grace is we have one of the easiest schedules in the league with a late bye week
i think getting the dolphins early could be interesting especially with Phillips and Chubb looks to be out until November.
All in all we got a favorable schedule. I feel pretty good about our chances to make the playoffs. Anything after that is gravy. 2025 is when we truly go all in.
Yeah this year is just the warm up
Starting in 2025 is when they should be a serious team
Week 3: vs. Miami Dolphins, September 22, 1:05 p.m., CBS September 12
Week 5: vs. New York Giants, October 6, 1:25 p.m., CBS September 26
Week 9: Los Angeles Rams, November 3, 1:25 p.m., FOX October 24
Week 12: vs. Arizona Cardinals, November 24, 1:25 p.m., FOX BYE
Week 13: at New York Jets, December 1, 10 a.m., FOX BYE
Week 15: vs. Green Bay Packers, December 15, 5:20 p.m., NBC December 5
We play against 4 teams that played TNF before, and two that had BYE week.
We have to capitalize on the early part of the schedule, because it's looking rough in the second half. Hopefully MacDonald can also deal with the Rams better than Pete. We ALWAYS lost to them!
Yeah i think the rams bullchit is over
Carrol is gone now
I think this could be an epic season for a rookie HC
at least Miami has to travel clear across the country
10-7, 11-6 I believe is the best outcome 8-9 9-8, the floor
That’s an incredibly slim floor-ceiling ratio.
Yeah 10 wins max
Yes there will be bumps with new coaching staff. But the schedule is not that tough other than divisional games. Think we split with all 3 in division. Think divisional is more leveled this year. And hawks go 10-7 and make playoff..
10-12 wins
Cap
10 max
And even then everything has to go right
Stay healthy, win all the games they should, play their very best at least 10 weeks etc
This is a very generous schedule all around and barring injuries I can see them challenging for homefield advantage. This would be their opportunity because next year I'm sure the schedule will be much tougher. Best case scenario we are 12-3 heading into CHI/LAR... I'm sure MacDaddy&Grub are just drooling out the mouth and champing at the bit to get all this talent out on the field. 💙💚💪
No dude
17-0 😂
Ok being realistic, I think 10-7 or 11-6.
By the way, if we win our first 2 games by a lot, it will be better than the entirety of the second half of last season.
Here are my thoughts on every game:
Week 1: The second best possible start to the season we could've had. An opposing rookie QB playing his first game here is not good for him.
Week 2: This would've been the best start to the season but it still is a great 2 game start to the season.
Week 3: I don't care how fast Riq Woolen is. Tyreek Hill is faster and it's too much.
Week 4: We should be playing in Detroit at night. It might be our most epic game in a while.
Week 5: We are being spoiled with this schedule.
Week 6: Why are they trying to have us relive Thanksgiving? THAT GAME GAVE ME PTSD!!!
Week 7: This is a mostly amazing schedule!!!!!
Week 8: Don't panic. The Bills have become clinically insane.
Week 9: It'll be hard but we need to get that terrible taste out of our mouth. I can't physically watch that week 1 game from last year.
Week 11: As much as I would LOVE to beat the Niners in our house at night when the fans are at their loudest, this would be awesome too. There is no way we won't finally have a chance vs the Mary Sues (I meant 49ers).
Week 12: The Cardinals will be better but we can still beat them because they are vulnerable.
Week 13: I like playing in New York because of the people's accents but I'm hoping our players get out of this alive.
Week 14: Arizona is basically our second home so we have a better chance here.
Week 15: Our first SNF game in three years. This is our night. HOIST THE FLAGS!!!!!!
Week 16: We are playing a LOT of rookie QBs this year.
Week 17: Who in the heck put this game on TNF? I get the Bears will be better this year but they're the Chicago Bears. They always figure out ways to screw things up.
Week 18: Weird way to end the year considering we always end it here or in Arizona.
I think we go 14-3 but the Mary Sues win the division because they're perfect.
If any game is easy in the “gauntlet” it’s the giants. Definitely the giants
I see 10 wins
Considering all the factors, this is probably the easiest schedule we have had in over a decade. No excuses for MacDonald to not win 2 more games than last year.
I got y’all going 10-7 and making the playoffs getting that 7th spot beating out the Cowboy and the Bears.
I say 10-7 too IF they stay healthy
That's a huge IF tho
And then even if they do win 10 it's still 50/50 on making playoffs
Dolphins week three is a potential disaster, they always start as the hottest team.
Yeah plus there's no way hawks got everything together by week 3
All new coach staff definitely gonna need more than 2 games to be at 100%
No reason to not get at least 10 wins, yes we have a rookie HC but our talent and skillset alone should be enough. We blew too many games last year due to lack of discipline ans coaching, I believe Macdonald will have our guys ready!
Dude c'mon you're smarter than that
@@DREADEYE_KNIGHT managed to get 9 wins last year with a shit defense and inconsistent offense. 10 wins isn't a stretch this season. But to each their own
@@Iron_Hawk_12
Yeah hawks made some upgrades sure but every year there's always new issues that hold teams back
Not everything just goes up lol
They have all new issues this year
All new coach staff
Less depth in some areas
Kept a few players they probably shouldn't have
(Players that it's probably too late to replace with better ones now)
And of course injuries
There's no way hawks stay 100% healthy, which to win 10 or more they will need to basically stay injury free (AND play their absolute best 10 or more times)
And other teams improved too
Every year is completely different in the nfl
It's not played on paper
too many fans expecting the changes to come together right away and lead to a better record...i know it could but do not think that's what will happen...time will be needed to jell on D and fully implement the new scheme on Offense...we should be a much better team than before by the end of the season but a better record may not be the end result...
they have 114 days to learn the scheme. these are pros. they should be good by the start of the season.
Practice and game speed are two different things especially at the “pro” level so adjusting to a new language is gonna take some time. Also I like more NFL regular season games but only two preseason games doesn’t help them either.
You cannot treat this as a rebuild, it was never supposed to be that. Carroll was fired for two reasons: One, for missing the playoffs; and two, having a roster that was perceived as a playoff team. MacDonald was brought in with those same mandates and roster. He has chosen to tear down what Carroll built instead of the more reasonable approach of building on it and adapting it for immediate success with gradual long-term changes toward his system. He also has chosen to remove all the coaches, some of them in the top end of the league, and replace them with the most inexperienced NFL staff at their current jobs. Both of those are his right and responsibility, but the expectations are the same as what Carroll was fired for. With this schedule, last year's roster, and a decent draft, Carroll would of likely won at least 10 to 11 games this year, that is the bottom point for his replacement or we should of just kept Carroll until we were truly in a rebuild. Is this unfair to MacDonald, probably, but all he had to do is 5 minutes of research before accepting the job to figure out what he was signing on for; that is the price of inheriting a decent to good team instead of a terrible one like what most new coaches get.
@@CasusFortuitus You think you know more than Macdonald who was informed by the team in NDA fashion of what the team expects from him? If you were right about what they expected of him, you think he would have been given license to dismantle Carroll’s coaching staff, etc?
@@ryandamey I can only rely on what is promised in the interviews and media sections. The expectations come from what was promised, although outside media did a really good job of reporting the fan expectations so MacDonald would know if he chose to. I know we get lied to by GM's and Coaches, but I don't condone it or expect them to do anything but what they stated. They certainly went silent on it after MacDonald cleaned out 40% of the staters, and almost all the coaches. As I stated, he has free rein to do whatever he wants as Head Coach, but with that power comes the accountability. This was never a terrible team that won 4 games and just wanted a future 3 years later, he was brought in to win more than Pete THIS season as evidenced by the GM's multiple, no rebuild / retool, get to the playoffs media hype sessions he freely chose to do. None of what was said after Carroll's firing, or the reasons for the firing, makes any sense if you treat this like a 2-3 year rebuild. Similarly, something tells me that Allen wasn't briefed on tanking the team's value right before a potential sale either, so what they said also makes reasonable sense as well. As far as if he would get to do what he did, yes, I do think he would be allowed to. GM's attempt to trust the judgments of their Head Coaches, especially when they just hired them and probably spun the job in the most positive light during the interviews. MacDonald strikes me as a really confident guy, so I believe he thinks these moves will improve the team, and I hope he is right, but confidence also breeds arrogance and the acts of cleansing the locker room of all past Seahawk history isn't a good sign, prior good coaches in NFL history haven't felt the need to do that, in fact most of them do the opposite.
Rogers has another injury by week 13
Lol definitely
Theres no way in hell he plays 17 games
