  • This is the first part of my video build series on the Dora Wings 1/48 scales Miles M.9 Master MkI.
    A different style of video for me, more conversational than a voice-over type of video. I do need you guys to let me know what you think, good or not so good..
    The kit has a short run feel to it, very reminiscent of Classic Airframes or early Special Hobby. A little frustrating but on the whole very enjoyable.

    Nice Vid Tim, looks like a half decent little kit with some care and attention.

      Tis a nice kit, not easy mind. A good introduction to short run stuff Dave. Who else is going to give us a Miles trainer, than a company like DoraWings. Ta mate

    I'm enjoying the presentation, Tim.....a little different from your previous vids. The result is looking pretty schmick and the process seemingly fairly easy. Will be eager to see how the paint/camo scheme turns out so will be keeping an eye out for the notification.

      This is definitely an easier way to produce videos Rob.. no thumbs down yet, so it may be the way forward. I’m looking forward to paint too, I’m trying not to rush things as I normally do

    Hi Tim! I was already liking this aeroplane, so from what I am seeing, I am quite tempted to order one of these kits for myself...
    Looking forward to the second part!

      Hi Radu, it’s will just start to come together now so we’ll see how that gull wing looks but she is an unusual aeroplane. I’m definitely going to get more DoraWings

      @@duncanling2127 you will need descent styrene tho to make it up..

      I remeber what you said in the video Tim don’t use the airfix sprues, I’ve tired every thing from superglue you different types of putty and no joy :(.

      @TimsScaleModelling  3 года назад +1

      Try superglue with talc Dunc… much better for small gaps. If a big gap then you could use strips of sprue/plastic to fill gaps. You do need a quality plastic mate.
