24:47 Ma'am how is a set of scalar matrices form a subgroup of M_n(R) ? It shouldn't include k=0 because zero matrix has no inverse.

Mn(R) is a group with respect to addition, therefore the identity element is zero matrix and it is a self inverse element.
And the set of scalar matrices forms a subgroup again with respect to addition.
