@Death From Above question: Is there a way to pay a patreon sub all in one go for a year. Im a Truck Driver who owns their own truck and Ive so many misc charges coming out that and all the charges get daunting so id like to ay something all at once so as not to have all these tiny micro charges every month.
Wow, that was an awful lot of open ground between you! Talk about No-man's Land. It was nice to see some support units get into the fight as well. I know Infantry can slow the game down but overall it was cool to see all these assets on the table. A well fought battle!
Mine just dug a hole and hid hahah It was fun to get some combined arms going! And death gultch was no joke. That Mauler’s erLLas and AC/2s paying dividends!
I like having the model preview with the unit card introductions. It may be less efficient than the lance stat spreads, but it's a good bit more aesthetically pleasing.
re-watching some of these and something to consider instead of LRM carriers is the Partisan LRM variant. It is a bit more expensive but has an extra pip of armor, extra pip of internal, a hair more damage and it's LRMs are Turret mounted. It lets them be a little bit less concerned with facing at the end of movement. Not as important in Alpha Strike since facing is free at the end of movement. But also something to be considered in your Destiny games
Enjoying every bit of your battle reports. How about doing a remake of some missions/campaigns from Crescent Hawks Revenge, Mechwarrior 2 Merc, Mech Commander 1 and 2? Love to see those on a tabletop setting. 😁
I really love it when comined arms make it to the table, just seems to make the game even more lively. Not that it mattered in your game as none of your infantry was engaged in combat, on the Master Unit List most stock infantry units have been reduced to two armor and one structure pips. Glad that no Gabriels made it to the table this time, the +3 TMM and the vulnerability of hovers seems to be the sweet spot in terms of balance. Compared to the other skills lucky still seems to be rather powerful to me, but Aaron really seems to hit with any reroll in this battle. If I could vote for forces in another batrep I would go for a regular IS force vs a Veteran Clan force just to see how this would work out. Another great video, thx guys :)
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming Probably they've changed the stats for IS Infantry to balance them with the Elementals, which appear quite squishy and pricey compared to them.
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming Yep, you're right. I guess I set the filters for era wrong (not checked late SW and Clan Invasion). If you set the filters for tech=IS;type=infantry; subtypes=conventional infantry you get a bunch of entries including the units with four pips of armor and generic ones with just two pips.
Great production again. To me the Bridge makes great sense as a place to have a battle. Did Kevin every use Luck? A reroll? If he did, I missed it. Would have loved to seen a column of tanks rumble across the bridge. Cool looking and do not block LOS, so I think tactically would solve the slow movement issue. Where do you get the cool cubes from. I am using some FF disks and not doing it for me.
Haha I have an unnecessary amount of dice, but amazon is great for bulk - either chessex (rounded edge) or kaplow (square edge). I like the square but chessex has waaaay more variety. As for the infantry, they are from Aries Games & Minis. You can check them out under the Iron Wind Metals section 👍
Oh yah... so those are like ebay specials from ?? Bachmann trains maybe. Look for track risers. I cut the tabs off so the road sections could lay flat.
Do you mean like, dropships and warships in orbit... or aerospace fighters? The latter is in AS and I’ve had a couple batreps with fighters. The former seems ambitious 😁
@@DeathfromAboveWargaming yes Jump-ships, Warships and Dropships! We have tried the old Aerotech rules but can not figure out how to apply them to Alpha Strike.
Just fyi, there is online vector conversion software that can do that. Once converted you can follow one of the RUclips tutorials to turn them into decals and whatnot
We ended up using Lucky as you must decide to roll all dice or not. So if you get a terrible attack turn you have a chance. If you hit with one die & miss with 1 you have to make a choice that could cost you or double your hits. Seems okay for us.

FedCom: “How dare your Witch of a Princess seduce our First Lord!” Kuritans: “Dishonour upon your First Lord for violating the Chancellor’s most virgin daughter” Victory Steiner-Davion and Omi Kurita: ^Face Palms^
It would have ruined the game/lore balance, but it would be funny to see the amount of palm sweating amongst the Capellans and FWL if the FedCom and DCMS got on board with that union.
@@john88benson well saying as after Omi’s death Victor manages to hook up with Isis Marik... all I’m going to say is that the FedSuns have a really convincing charm to them that they’ve managed to seduce pretty much the entire IS at some point. The Davion and Kuritan bloodlines have crossed before back before the first succession war. The Kentares Massacre put any stop to that after. Theodor was okay with it even let them marry in secret and had Catherine hadn't had her killed he would have been content to live in the Combine in exile, but Catherine being Catherine couldn't leave well enough alone.
@@rollingthunder55 That was a great section in Era Report 3145. The Black Dragons not knowing Kitsune was Omi and Victor's son wanting to put him on the throne and then he drops the bombshell that he's Victor's son after becoming a Knight of the Sphere, and a bunch of Black Dragon's commit seppuku ashamed of nearly putting a Steiner-Davion on the Combine throne. Kitsune in that one action seems to have done more damage to the Black Dragons than many of the purges against them.
I should thank you guys for the stuff you have on your site. House rules, missions, sheets. You are giving a lot to the community. Thank you.

Had to look up the stats Mauler in alpha strike with its abilities down right brutal.
Fantastic right? OVL2 and long 3 is nasty 😆
It appears the 17th Avalon Hussars loaned Crab Meat and his madness to their sister regiment, who summarily gave him a Battlemaster.
