So pretty much any rap that's not on an official album CAN BE CONSIDERED a freestyle. It's really arbitrary but that's just what it is.
They all have lyric books that they write down stuff as they come up with it, so they probably have lines in their heads that they had made up before, but it's all from memory like they aren't reading it, probably, but who knows.
