I think this is an outstanding interface. Ive had lots of interfaces from Behringer uPhoria (ugh!), Native Instruments and others. This is a million miles better than all of them. Ive paired the mic with the Mackie EM-91C mic which is very sensitive. It means I dont have to turn the gain up more than 40% which is incredible and the volume gain on this unit is great. The best thing is the sound. This sounds brilliant compared to any other unit Ive had. So if gain is important, sound quality and price, this is the unit hands down. I'm still going to stand by my Tascam 2x2HR 😊
how many words, where audio test?
Do Arturia this interfaces give the user a mono out option like the Focusrite? That's a deal breaker for me
I have no idea what that means...what mono out?
If this is entry level then what is um2 or m track solo
Entry level as well.
It's not a specific price...it is a range
Honestly the meter on the front for monitoring is so useless, if it was for mic/line meter it would make sense. Overall better than focusrite which lost quality over the years.
I’m considering this, the 2i2, and Komplete audio 2 for my first interface. Verdict? (Use for vocals, spoken word, guitar, and drums with overheads)
Thanks in advance!
Totally the 2i2
That said this is a VERY close second.
@@DarkCornerStudios Thanks for responding. The takeaway from this video seemed to be that you placed the Arturia ahead. Does the midi in/out plus my Arturia midi controller (which i don’t use very often but would like to) tip the scale? Or still go for the 2i2?
Also, since you’re here, I love your channel man. Great content AND you’re a fun guy to watch as well. Greetings from Egypt.
Man I am way behind. I am just hearing of this today. Saw it on a tik tok video.
When it gets tested with RS_ASIO then I would definitely get it over the evo 4. I love my UR242 but it haven't seen a driver update in like a year and I don't need all the bells and whistles for my gaming/work pc especially since I main linux now
It has ASIO...and it is good.
Audiofuse drivers are fantastic...if not a bit confusing to install sometimes
I am not going to lie, I will wait for Julian Krause to verify the specifications.
Bahahahaha...amazing
You do win for most underhanded insult of the year though....brilliant

The guy will open it up! That's commitment.
Is it weird that I really like Krause's sweaters too?
Can it record L and R audio from a synthesizer? If it can't would midi be just as good?
It would have no problem with either.
There are 2 analog 1/4 inch inputs as well as the midi.
MIDI won't record audio, if you are thinking that.
Can someone explain the use cases for the USB hub?
Literally just an extra USB for your computer.
Is possible to use with midi devices...but it is under powered
I prefer the scarlet!
U don’t have both arturia is better😂
What about headphone volume? The Scarlet drives me bonkers with how quiet the headphone feed is.
These have more output.
Sadly though I didn't compare the two directly.
According to the specs there is 5-6 dB more output
@@DarkCornerStudios Thank you
For you Milky...the world
Julian Krause measured 145mw @ 32ohms vs the scarlett's 20ish, so roughly 8.5 db louder which is almost twice as loud, + the scarlett has really bad distortion measurments. The headphone amp + the price is the big selling point here.
Unfortunately the power doesn't scale aswell at higher input impedances, seems it can provide plenty of current but not enough voltage.
Behringer 204 HD is way better specs, rca outs. and less expensive
I’m going to SUBSCRIBE RIGHT N⭕️W!
Cheers!
I guess it not for a IPad system.
Your thee Manz
I can't post in the live chat.
I saw your post...we answered it live too
Please keep funny attitude on reviews.
Нихуя не понял...
ANY interface is bette than the noisey popping clicking you get from focusrite. focusrite isnt usable because of the unstoppable popping and clicking
Ummm...that's not a thing.
It sounds like you had a bad unit
@@DarkCornerStudiosit's a real thing on windows. No problem on mac.
