Vasiliev - wonderful. Polunin - I have not watched a clip of Polunin for a long time; I can't bear his recent work; this reminds me of his former superb technique and musical interpretation. Simkin - impressive in his energy. Gatti - I don't know this dancer but he compares favourably with the others.
Nobody like Polunin. The height of his jumps is superb. The precision of the turns and the posture... we was born to become the new Nureyev, unfortunately he miss the path... we only can dream what he would have become in the RB
It's amazing how you can see three or four dancers for the same part and yet they're so uniquely different! Each seem to be able to bring to life their interpretation of this fabulous dance. All of them were magnificent dancers.

Gatti’s was the most thorough interpretation. To my eye, his jumps weren’t just jumps; they had meaning. He treated it like a monologue, and subordinated himself to the story. I learned something watching how he phrased this.

Funny, that’s how Polunin has always appeared to me. I thought it was just me! He has all the technical moves down Pat but , to me, just goes through the motions, if he doesn’t have a passion for ballet why bother. Just my opinion of course 👵👵👵🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I agree, except I don't like his split jumps with the bent back leg. I suppose that's the choreographer though. I love his classic technique and expressiveness and elegance!

Thank you once again. I try to be fair but, to me, Vasiliev all the way - though surely he’ll suffer with his back in later life. He’s just got that ‘something’. The 3 rd guy was good I thought but what on earth made them put that last guy in what looked like a baseball uniform? Poor thing must have been mortified going on stage looking like that. Enjoyable though, thank you 🙏🙏🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you for posting. From this group I'd choose Simkin and Polunin. Simkin's barrel turns are terrific. Gatti is quite good; too bad about the dreadful costume. In my opinion the best Solor of contemporary dancers is Kimin Kim.
Polunin is definitely the best (known) dancer in the world right now; I guess we should always be aware that some performers are not discovered, or get the opportunity to have the best of training.
Polunin is the total package but Vasiliev has that "intangibile" that Misha had, that "something" flair wise you just cannot put your finger on even if he doesn't have Polunin's exquisite lines and clarity.
Согласна. Таким талантом и возможностью одарила природа, но вот желания танцевать и мозгов не дала,поэтому такой итог.Жаль, очень жаль. Осталось только биаграфию написать "Как я прос....ал талант"

Слишком тяжело ему далось обучение в Лондоне - "школе Хотваргса" )), а потом удавка ROH... Я его понимаю: нет ничего слаще делать то, что хочешь, жить там, где хочешь!

Однозначно из четверых Васильев. Сила и мужественность в сочетании с элегантными движениями, красивыми длинными линиями, чувство музыки. Последний молодой человек, увы, не вписывается в общую группу: движения куцые, прыжок низкий, не всегда попадает в музыку. Полунин, кажется, не в настроении, но техника , постановка корпуса при нём

Polunin is very "clean" if you allow me, but no stage presence. As in really cold. I did not know Simkin but I do find him very elegant and precise.
