When he beaked you as you were stroking him is a show of love. I’ve seen this in a previous video. It warms me how much he loves on you. I am particular to owls and how they look as they are unique and beautifully made.

Well, you probably haven’t seen anything like this because it’s a rarity. Lol. This is a unique situation, of course… But I wouldn’t expect too many owls, or any bird for that matter, react this way. If you try it, make sure you bring leather gloves, at least!
I was actually at the bird of prey center in Maitland Florida many years ago and they had a friendly barred owl who let us pet it. It was so surreal. 😭 Thanks for the reminder. 🥰

In the wild it would be different yes, but as you said we have raised him from a baby so he completely trusts us 🦉😊
