I saw the full clip, the woman was with a group and the horse went for 3 of the people in the same group prior, and she was stood taking pictures and saw it… she knew the horse was trying to bite yet she dashed straight in trying to get her photo before anyone else, and got bitten… stupid is as stupid does!

Well from my perspective I see my mom do it because they want to feel like they have a memory of being there. She getting old and can’t go around and travel everywhere as much and forgets as time moves on because of her bad memory but photos of her in it helps her remember of the time she spent in a place with the people she spent it with. Hell she barely travel even when she was young so these trips with photos of her in it give her memories of where she been with and who she been with.
Rushing up to the horse is not a good idea. (I’ve been bitten by a horse as I used to ride and it wasn’t as painful as she’s making it seem. I did have a bulging vein the horse caught for almost a year but the pain was gone in a few days.)

Foreign languages take years to master, if someone is visiting a country for only a few weeks for the first time it is unlikely they will know more than a few key phrases.
