Dr Smith from Lost in Space played Manny, and he even does the "Oh the pain!" schtick. I'm convinced him and Ratzenburger were little nods to the parents in the audience. I'd bet money that Pixar wanted to get somebody from the old Batman show to do a voice, but it never panned out.

Im seeing people talk a lot about Hayden and David. Not a lot of people are talking about Spacey from Hopper. Incredibly a perfect voice for almost a perfect villain. There is a lot of malice, menace, and presence to each dialogue and it really shines for a fucking BUG of all things. Also, every time he dialogues with Richard Kind, its comedy gold.

I love Heimlich, Hopper, and Molt. I was honestly surprised when I saw Kevin Spacey play the voice for Hopper; it’s funny because Hopper and Kevin act sorta the same. Although Kevin Spacey is not evil; I also noticed that Kevin is also a little shy while being interviewed; Unlike his brother, Molt, who loves the attention. Heimlich also loves the attention! Joe Ranft totally fit Heimlich’s voice. Joe Ranft is very funny; he makes me laugh and is just very friendly. I was devastated when he got into that car crash in 2005. He will be forever missed. 😢 And for Molt he’s my favorite character. Me and him have a lot in common! We’re both friendly, honest, and a little awkward in some aspects. I was happy to see Richard Kind playing his voice! I’ve seen Richard Kind in lots of movies like Tom and Jerry and Inside Out; And Richard Kind fit the role perfectly! And I hope in the future we get a Bug’s Life 2. But they will have to find new voice actors for Gypsy, Manny, and Heimlich.
