I guess it has good packaging 📦 🤷 But is it the same that We grew up on ? I asked you the beginning of this year? Like dose / can you see it drenching your beard?😮
Just got some in last week and, like you, Dan, I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciate your take on this product. I have been really enjoying it. I would add that they recommend a pea-sized amount, and at first, I was like, "Pffft, I know my beard." Trust me, everyone, a little goes a long way. I have tried it as an oil and balm combo, as well as just a nightly butter routine like you mentioned, and I'd have to say I'm with you on using it more as a beard hair nourishing routine. I actually enjoy the scent myself; I love the earthier spice scents, if that makes sense. I appreciate your reviews as always, Dan. Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend. 🎅
I've been using this for about a month, and it really exceeded my expectations. I'm not one to seek out jelly but I'm glad I did. Love it. I'll be buying more of it. In addition to the packaging and the awesome sticker, I also found another smaller sticker in the little box that I almost overlooked and threw away.
I’ve tried this and loved it. It’s the only beard jelly I’ve tried. Great product and great owner as well! I really like the effects of the green coffee oil. Looking forward to a broader scent line.
I had the wonderful opportunity to try this out a few weeks ago.. I agree with everything you said.. I was skeptical considering my past experience with jelly.. But I know my ingredients now and this looked good and definitely piqued my interests.. The green coffee and peppermint oil? My beard is already thick and strong but I’m all for that extra boost! Only takeaways are I grew a pimple or two and I’m wondering if that is from the beeswax because I never use product with beeswax.. And the scent is good, more of a Fall/Winter scent.. I would like to see a new scent for warmer weather.. Overall, absolutely pleased with this product and exactly like you said, this changed my perspective on beard jelly from negative to positive.. Thanks to Arrowlands for that..
I’ve been so pumped about this products performance. When I use it though, I apply oil first and then I follow it up with the jelly in the hair, similar to an oil + butter combo. Like you, I wish the scent was just mint all the way through because I’m not a big fan of clove but for me the scent didn’t over stay its welcome,so it wasn’t the end of the world.
Great review! Thanks Dan! Would you say that you could use a regular oil and then apply the jelly to the hair later to provide that great conditioning?
Thanks for the review Dan! This seems like maybe something to use before swimming? Normally I like to get beard damp then either a little oil or butter before swimming.
Great video DanC! Thanks for clarifying this product! I also don’t want products with beeswax in them due to the pore clogging. I honestly don’t even use the butters I have that contain beeswax. Just feels off the next day, in my opinion. Glad they’re putting a better name on beard jelly! 💯🔥
While not for me, it's good to hear someone improving on an idea! It looks like they really took time to put together the complete professional package.
Great video. I figured you weren't going to like it as you're not a fan of other jellies, but you're the boss my man so I appreciate your openness to try another one. And you know it's a good review when I want to go buy this product. LOL Question though, would this be used as a standalone product or woukd I need to apply it with oil?
I've always taken this approach with certain ingredients, is if it's a solid that doesn't dissolve or moisten then it doesn't go on the skin. Butters, waxes and thick creams will clog my pores unless it's prescribed by a dermatologist and it works well with your skin. Ever since you did that Bossman review (I think it was them) for their beard jelly, I saw a few in beauty stores and out in the wild, and I am terrified about it giving me some kind of reaction because it clogs my pores or lord knows what else. If it's thicker than oil, it's hair only.... my rule of thought.
I think the perspective you gave on Beeswax makes this one of your best reviews! I watched their video/ad and wondered what you’d think. It looks to me that Arrowlands is off to an impressive start and will have a lot to offer the beard community.
I’ve tried that other beard jelly brand and wasn’t a fan. This seems like a great alternative to that, and I would say sounds like a possible option. Good job to them for a quality natural product!
I used a beard jelly last summer called Beard Goo from Avacado Beard Co which works similar to this. I liked to use it after going in the pool or using it at the beach after a swim so my beard didn't dry out. The Arrowlands beard jelly is cheaper so I may give it a try.
I haven't tried this, but I make my own "beard jelly" type stuff. I mix noncomedogenic oils and butters into a jelly consistency and use it like I would butter at night.
Great introduction and review Dan. I think I have a stigma in my brain with the name jelly for beard products. Q: what is the difference between this beard jelly versus a liquid beard butter?
I like one stop shopping. What I mean is, I don't like putting oil in, waiting a few minutes for it to penetrate, then adding a butter of balm with a bit of beeswax tor control especially when trying to get out the door for work etc. I like that this product has everything I need in one application. I'm skeptical of new companies & I wouldn't be giving this a second look if Dan didn't recommend it. I tried Bossman jelly once and I swore never again will I use beard jelly, but this stuff looks better.
@@DanCBeardedgot my jelly today. Smell is pretty pleasant. Had to run it under hot water to make it a usable viscosity, which is weird because it was sitting in my mailbox in Florida. I don’t notice it being overly greasy after a while which is a plus. It kind of thickened up the chin area and it styled nicely and held, from the beeswax I imagine. It feels like a cool minty sensation. I’ll keep using it and if my opinion changes I will update. Seems like a decent jelly/oil combo which I never thought I’d say after that Bossman debacle
What is the difference between bears jelly and beard butter or oil? Also you mentioned bees wax clogs the pores of the skin, what about beard butter that has bees wax in it? Should you be concerned about using that on your skin under the beard?
Hmmm I tried Bossman Beard Jelly back in 2017 and they didn't impress me. That and their shampooo and conditioner bottles were INSANELY brittle (I dropped it into my sink and the bottle shattered and they use PLASTIC) this may have changed my mind on Beard Jelly's 🤔 Do you think it would be a good substitute for butter in a pinch?
That's why you should give us the gift of an "unbiased and objective investigation tips" video! 😃 where you can tell us how you know if what you're reading comes from a trusted and objective source, how ma y results we should read, how to come with a conclusion from that investigation, etc 😋 pleaaseee
Well it looks like Boss man has some competition. I would still use beard jelly if they had the sense that I like. For example, I loved the boss man's stagecoach and magic. But, I did not like All the junk that he decided to put in. I'm more for the soft butter like Royal Royal, kingsman or weather beard. I'm just going to stack with my butter at night and oil in the day. I have actually gotten used to not having jelly. I replaced it with my liquid butter.
I have not tried this product before, but I'm always looking for that one company that makes a great all-in-one product that I can travel with and use in my beard. As you know, traveling with beard oil/butter/wash/conditioner etc etc can be annoying. Just a traveling Sam-Sam point of view.
Great video Dan, but 7.10 a oz, and that bottle is 3.1 oz so it's over $ 20 for that bottle , seems a little pricey to me , but still a great video man keep it up

A little absolutely goes a long way! Spot on. And I truly get a little Christmas like scent from the clove/spice, so I could totally see that!

Thanks for the introduction of a new beard care company. Have a great weekend Dan!
My pleasure! And you as well Saad!
Thanks for the thorough review Dan. Can't say if this product is for me but at least I can make an informed decision.
Of course 🤝
I’ve tried this and loved it. It’s the only beard jelly I’ve tried. Great product and great owner as well! I really like the effects of the green coffee oil. Looking forward to a broader scent line.
Awesome; thanks Michael!
Interesting… I love to try new things!
Interesting. I like the idea of “ travel friendly “
For sure!
Ty Dan for answering a question I had asked about clogging. I saw it said to put into the skin. Appreciate all you do .

I wouldn’t use it before swimming, because the greasy nature of it. Will come off like an oil slick on the water

Happy Friday!
Love Beard Jelly. I work with machinery so I tie my beard up and the jelly keeps it moist all day! I use bossman. Maybe I will give it a try
I truly believe this is a better option 🤝
Great video Dan. I'm one of those genetic freaks whose skin likes beeswax and always looking for a lazy day product, may need to check them out.
This could be for you!
Love these! Come out the gate swinging! Looks like they are on it🍻🍻🍻

Great job Dan I couldn't agree more

Great video, Dan. So if I order this, would it be ok to use unscented oil for the skin and use this product like a blam?
Yes, absolutely!
@DanCBearded oh nice! Thanks homie
Surprising!

Wow beard jelly what will they think of next?
Beard jelly has been around for over 10 years now

Beeswax would be the biggest difference

Better to use than oil/butter combo?

Silly question is jelly on this product the same as England jelly
I have no idea what England jelly is lol and I’m still unsure after a google search
I've tried the other beard jelly, had greasy feeling, not a fan. I may try this co. I watched him on bearded respect
