- After having so much distrust in our medical system, this positive birth story with an epidural was the best kind of reassuring. I was terrified of being induced and wanted to go the natural route, but what can you do in my situation. I am forever grateful to our amazing nurse (Taylor) & the doctor who delivered our baby. We couldn't have done this without the entire night shift staff at the hospital. Thanks for watching and sharing this special moment with us. Baby Jack is everything I ever wanted & we're completely in love!

I've never seen a man that supportive and mature and unbotheted b4 in my life, props to both of you, you did amazing!!!!!!
💯
A super late congratulations...Yay🎉😊..We love you...
I was pushing with her😢 Pitocin is no joke. I had it 28 yrs ago and still remember it😭😭😭😭😭 Blessings to mom and dad this experience was amazing. Proud of you sir for being there for her labor.
Omg I totally agree!
He's doing too much!
I’m a Nurse Anesthetist. I’ve placed more epidurals than I could possibly remember. Don’t think Ive ever seen a Dad as caring and attentive as Brad. Bravo sir. You are a real man!
Thanks for sharing. Very touching.
So she was able to be on her knees with an epidural? How? I couldn’t move until it wore off at 10cm 😮
@@nikkijanayI want to know that question too
I’ve seen a few where they are still able to move around but it still works for pain, it has to be what nerves are blocked or the medication but it’s definitely interesting.
@@nikkijanayI have never had an epidural for labour. But I had ijs fkd surgery and even after it was removed I couldn't walk for 2 hours. After 2 hours I was still struggling to walk
Indeed....WTG ❤🎉❤
Much respect to your husband! Real men don’t get disgusted by their woman bringing their legacy into the world! Y’all are going to be wonderful parents!
Ok ya all can we just get a huge round of applause for this man? Who is 200% there for his woman! Hell yes I love this guy! 😊
100%
Agree 100%
Couldn’t agree more!!
The hospital needs to hire him at this point! 😂
I agree!! I’m not even done watching the whole video & I have NEVER seen a husband/daddy so involved in the birthing process!! What a wonderful man you have!! And mama you did amazing!! This video makes my heart happy!! Blessings to y’all always!! ❤
She trusts him so much, and clearly he's earned it. A wonderful couple who deserve each other, and really deserve the gift of a precious child! Congratulations
This was the best, most real childbirth video I've ever seen. No eyeliner, lipstick or cheesy music. Just two parents doing life. I laughed and cried, as you do. Congratulations, Brad and Lex, on a job well done. Happy Birthday, Jack Henry! You are so loved! 💙💙💙
I've seen the real deal w No blur...it's more magical to see how you were born I feel like you appreciate More and thank your mom...4 going through it all just to have u
I did the same!!
Brad turned into the calmest doctor I’ve ever seen. Beautiful team work! Congratulations to you two!!!!
Hey Britt so this is who you watch!! Good taste! Love your channel too!
Right! He was great for them
He knew her body and knew what she needed to do and the teamwork was beautiful
Is he actually a doctor?? He seemed liked he knew what he was doing and was all up in there.
@@damonestephens8722 no he is not
This is the most unique birth I've ever seen! That nurse really let mommy and daddy do their thing! I love how well you guys adapted to the change of plans and were positive... that makes for the healthiest and safest deliveries when something deviates from the original plan! 👏🏼 That was beautifully done for such a big and firstime baby!
Thank you 🙏🏽♥️💯
I second that!!
OMG, y’all made a 62 y/o man with two grown children and a grandson cry, so happy for you both… congratulations y’all!!!!!
I have NEVER seen a husband so involved! How cool are y'all!
OMG, crying, gritting my teeth and those first cries brought tears to my eyes! BRAD, you're awesome and bless Lex for that lengthy delivery!😢😢😂😂
I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a hubby/bf all up in there and so focused, so loving. What an amazing hubby. Mama is so strong, somewhat relaxed and caring. Thank u for sharing your story and congratulations on your beautiful baby. 🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
This was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever watched. He played a major role in delivering his Son. She stayed so strong and pushed him out. God bless all three of you.
Brad deserves husband of the LIFETIME AWARD!! WHAT A MAN! So supportive and you can see the love he has for his wife! Congratulations you guys!
Thank you 😭🫶🙏🏽
What the fuck give her a privacy geez🤬👎 why are you looking at her ass bro like what the fuck give her privacy like yo you don’t have to explain it to us it’s inappropriate does help her get the baby out don’t look at or what don’t look at her ass like seriously bro you’re so ridiculous no I hate you I am moving on to a different you
I take back every negative comment I ever made about Brad being too stoic. He was a damn BOSS through this! Congratulations!! Welcome to the world Jack!!
Never been more impressed than seeing Brad being the doctor, especially as Lex is pushing! The nurses were doing such an great job! Welcome Jack!
I cried when they put Jack on Lex's chest and I saw the look on her face. Brad, you were incredible in there! Thank you both so much for sharing this amazing journey with us.
😭😭😭🥹💙 love you
I love the teamwork between you and your husband.. he did an amazing job coaching you through this and helping make sure that the nurse was listening to your needs. You did amazing momma
Baby Jack has wonderful parents! It’s always a blessing! You guys are amazing and going to be the best parenting to Jack!
Thank you, I really hope so, he is such a good baby 💙👶🏽
Brad is going to be a great father - because he's a great husband. I've never seen a dude get in there and coach his wife like Brad did. Freaking Awesome!
I thought he was a dr or nurse with how good he did!
Way to go Lex! Such a strong mama! Childbirth is no joke - brad was incredible. Welcome to the world Jack!
It was so intense! 😅 Thank you!!
@@BradAndLexVlog I completely understand! Just had my second on 3/9 ☺️ I have been dying to hear your story!! Thanks for sharing these real and raw moments 💕
Brad.....you were so awesome. Lex you handled labor so bravely. Loss for words. Congratulations.
I cried.
Congratulations and what a wonderful experience to share! You both were so great at the “teamwork”. Strong and brave. Hi Jack! Sweet baby❤
Oh my goodness. I have so much respect for that man. Obviously he’d studied and knew what to do. Calm, collected and guiding her through every phase. And thanks to the team for allowing him to have that gift.
Most of all, WTG MOM!! You did it!! So proud if all of you!!
Oh my gosh, I was crying at the end. Wow, what a video! I'm so happy for both of you. I think the funniest part was when Brad said "It was kinda like a crime scene down there". I almost lost it. Brad, you're a rockstar. The way you helped and comforted Lex was fantastic. Lex, you have proven why women ARE the stronger sex...:-). You handled that labor and birth like a pro. Hearing Jack cry at the end was the most beautiful sound of a brand new life. Amazing!
The fact that the dad was so involved was amazing!! My husband probably would pass out if he saw what her husband saw lol. Good job mom and dad! ❤
Congratulations. Mad respect Brad. I've never seen a man be so right up IN the action during childbirth. It was so awesome to witness.
Very very true, I've never.
Seriously. Congrats to you both. I was worn out just watching the video ;)
My thoughts exactly
@@DajiaStar version page di on dan
I personally would have hate it ! But if that's what she wanted, that's a win !
I love he is so chill, walking around eating, like he is at a football game!! AWESOME GUY!!!
As a man I'm so in awe of women who give birth to a fellow human being. The only thing I can blurt out is; "May The Force Be With You" Lex. Congratulations Brad and Lex and little man. Welcome to life!
Oh my god! I’m crying! Lex you were so strong! Brad, you sir, are what every husband should be. You were there a thousand percent for your wife. I really started crying when they gave Lex little Jack. At that very moment, Lex fell in love and felt her first feelings as a mom to that sweet baby. Congratulations to you both!!! ❤
Beautiful!
There's no other feeling in life, like the birth of a child.
I'm old, but still remember the birth of my oldest daughter in the living room back in '82, like it was yesterday.
Congratulations!
this is the first ever man i’ve EVER seen this much in contact and helping and soooo supportive
I’m an 56 year old father of two. One in their 20s and the other in their 30s. I was present at both and participated in each delivery. Both times took a good deal of time and was hard on my wife. When I got to snip the cord and hold my children it was the greatest feeling. When I went home to shower and change clothes I cried. Most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had helping bring two beautiful souls into the world. It’s magical ✌️🤟
Oh - I forgot the most important part. You two did a great job. Now the easy part is over - now you gotta raise little Jack. Play him lots of different music and read to him. You two will have lots of things to teach him God bless you.
You guys BOTH brought that beautiful boy into this world... together from start to finish! BRAD, you were an amazing support system and LEX, you were so strong!! I've never seen a birth video more real, more intimate and more beautiful!! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Oh my, thank you for sharing baby Jack with us! Lex, you made a big, healthy, beautiful boy and Brad, I couldn't be more proud of you if I was your mom.
Never seen a dad to be so involved, and into the whole process, he would make a fab midwife.well done both
What a beautiful and emotional video, Lex you are a trooper!! And Brad, you ever consider being a midwife you were amazing! 😅 Thankyou for sharing this beautiful moment with us, i think I'm not alone in the crying once Jack came out part, his little cry and Lex your reaction to him crying 😭❤️❤️
🥹😭😭 omg I still can’t believe it
@Brad & Lex Vlog Jack Henry (that name is divine!) Is a handsome little chap, so so happy for you guys ❤️🩵
Congrats.🎉
Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful son! I am a retired nurse and this was by far the best daddy assisted birth I have ever seen! You both should be so proud of yourselves! May you all be blessed with good health and prosperity! Thank you for posting this! Warmest regards, Fran
That was incredible! The bond you two have is so strong, you can tackle anything together. Hated to see Lex in pain, but love that you guys wanted to show the full experience. Keeping it real, as always. Thanks for sharing this memorable day with us all!
I love how involved dad was in the whole process. Good job momma. 😊
You were a great coach Brad. You took such great care of Lex and Jack. Congratulations and welcome Jack!!!♥️🧸🎈
This man would be the best OB doc, L and D nurse, or Doula. He is a great coach
He probably is not interested in that however. Most men I've seen like this say they only did it because it was theirs.
Lex, you deserve all the praise is in the world. I honestly don’t know how women go through what you did, but from what I saw in the last minutes, I know exactly why.
Brad, speaking as a dad who’s been through this before, I must say that you are amazing. While my role was a bit different than yours, I confess that my memory of the big moment is not so vivid; there was so much commotion and it all happened so fast. But you did everything you needed to, and more. I’ve got sixteen years of milestones to remember… just this afternoon I was a passenger for the first time as my son drove. Here’s to you having many more milestones and happy memories with Jack.
Lex you did such a amazing job -- they dont call it labor for nothing -- All the plans and expectations go right out the window when its go time -- Brad you were a amazing coach for Lex -- I cant tell you how important it was to keep things calm and keep her informed at a time when she is her most vulnerable and has no control --- Your precious babe is in your loving arms now--- Welcome Jack Dearie we have all been waiting to meet you
I am literally wiping my eyes right now. Lex, girl you are one lucky lady to have a guy like Brad. I think, no I know every woman deserves a 'Brad". And you did so well, your tears and yelps of joy when you held your son, YOUR SON! This is a moment that you will always cherish. Now it's almost 3am
I would guess it's time for a feeding and a diaper change.
Thank you both for sharing this wonderful and beautiful experience with all of us
Brad is such a beautiful example of a supportive strong partner! What an incredible video. Many blessings to you and your new family!!!
You are AMAZING!!! 👏 👏 👏 Childbirth is BRUTAL, and you handled it like a champ!!! Brad did a great job coaching you through. You can definitely see the love and bond in your relationship in this video. Congratulations on your baby Jack!!!! Try to rest 😊😊
This man.... This man seriously deserves an award for being so amazing..! Congrats!
It has been over 35 years since my twin girls were born but watching a birth ALWAYS brings me to tears! Good job mom AND dad!!
This is the only realest video I’ve watched of an actual labor with the woman experiencing everything in phases and explaining and the husband fully aware of everything and seeing the whole process through and through ❤this is beautiful to watch such a connected loving couple .congratulations
Watching as I prepare to bring my daughter in just a few hours to be induced tonight. Lex, Brad, both of you were so amazing! ❤ Thank you for sharing your journey with us, and Congratulations on your precious baby, Jack! I wish you all the joy, love, and abundance your hearts can hold! ❤
Oh man! I’m sending you all the vibes thoughts and prayers for a smooth & quick delivery now!!
Way to Brad. I’ve never seen support this direct. How amazing. Unconditional love. Tears really running down my face. I never seen anything like this . Way to go mama. Brad is amazing and so are you.
Yay! You rocked this birth, Lex!! So impressed! Congratulations!
As a former childbirth educator, I can tell you the average length of gestation for a first time baby is 8 days after the due date, so this was not abnormal. I was SO impressed at your strength! Especially for someone being induced which makes it SO much harder! I also LOVED how you reminded them about delayed cord clamping.
YOU ARE A ROCK STAR!! And Brad could be a doula!
I love how involved and unbothered he is with everything that comes with delivering a child. We need more men like this! He is so unconcerned about the most vulnerable and it’s amazing. My man could never he would be so grossed out if he seen me poop while pushing 😢and that makes me that much more worried about it even though it’s so natural and shit happens. Literally.
Wow, Brad!? You were amazing. I think you missed your calling, you shudda been a midwife/Doula. And Lex, what a Mamma. Well done girl. Welcome to the world Jack. 🌎 👶 💙
I fell in love with Brad through this. Lex you did an amazing job!! Welcome to the world Jack!!🎉
The first 10 minutes or so it was hard to watch our little Lex suffer. So glad you took the epidural. During the whole birthing process I just sat here watching and weeping. When Lex said Oh my God I started crying. When Jack cried my heart was filled with joy and I could feel the love of mother and son through the screen.. Praise God. Lex my dear, you did such a good job and Brad my man, you are a bad ass. I have said it before and I'll say it again, you are a man's man. 8 lbs 13 oz is a BIG boy from such a small woman. We are so happy for you guys and I believe prayers work. God Bless you three and we love you.
Michael
That was beautiful. Lex, you are a warrior and Brad...you were so supportive. Jack is a lucky baby.
This was incredible! You should be SO proud of yourselves, what an incredible team! Congratulations! Welcome baby Jack, you have some bad ass, awesome parents!
Daddy was more involved than the nurses or the doctor!
Great job & congrats on a beautiful baby boy.
He’s about a year now.
Give him a big hug for me.
They were allowing dad to be involved, they weren’t being hands off for no reason.
@@vell5052Wow, thank you for straightening me out.
I’ve been an RN for 36 years & would have never realized that. 🙄
That was soooo beautiful, it brought this Grammy to tears. Lexi you were amazing and Brad your support and love was palpable. Welcome Jack. ❤❤️ Congratulations to your beautiful family. Thanks for sharing. Big Hugs from Canada ❤❤️❤️
Wow! Brought tears to the eyes of this 61 yr old guy. Congratulations Mom and Dad! Welcome to the world Jack! Excellent job supporting Lex, Brad. Look forward to seeing Jack in more of your videos to come!
The best is just hearing that first baby cry!. You'all did a great job.
🥹😭😭🫶 it’s like angelic music
Congratulations! You both did amazing 🥂 Welcome to the world baby, Jack.🍼🐤
Thank you 😊🥹💙😭
Congrads ya’ll!!
@@BradAndLexVlog I saw the video where you brought Jack home. He is so beautiful! 💖 I remember bringing my son home, I said into the video camera, " "I feel like I have something shiny and new and everything is dirty." The first time I drove alone with him, I was a wreck like I should have bubble wrap around my car, lol. My baby is graduating from high school in 3 weeks. 😭( we live in Lake county) Cherish every moment with your little blessing. Hold him as much as possible. When he grows up you will feel like you didn't get to hold him enough.~ God Bless your family 💞
I have no words. Wow. Allowing us into just parts your life is the best content I have ever seen. Watching your family grow and flourish is wonderful! Love you all and god bless!
Welcome into the world, Jack. You're off to a great start with the parents you have in Lexi and Brad!!!🙏💖
Wow, is this how people have babies now? I'm so impressed! Thirty-plus years ago I just laid in a bed. That was it. No walking around, no aerobic balls to lay frontwards on, and no one ever encouraged the "dad to be" to help in any way. This was amazing! Lex, you did such a good job! You were so in tune to your body, and you really had me crying at the end when you held little Jack for the first time! Brad, you were such an involved dad to be! Seriously! You could be a nurse! I was so impressed! We are all SO happy for you guys! We're all proud, and we're all BEAMING with joy for your new baby & happy family! Congratulations! 💖
Brad wins husband of the year for sure!! Lex did amazing! So happy for the two of you!!!!!
You two make a great team!!! He made the best doula! When he said relax your jaw did it for me! lol so awesome! Obviously, he was very educated before the birth experience!
Yesss I was so surprised he knew about the jaw connection! And the inlet/outlet, he knew so many insider things!!
Awwwwww I'm crying that was intense. Your nurses were really great but dad , wow
Childbirth is kinda like a crime scene, lol. It's as a raw a human experience as you can go through, with the emotion (and, let's face it, the way it looks). But then the baby is there and, boom, all is forgotten! Lex you are such a warrior! Brad you were fully there. So happy for your new family!! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
He is so in tune and comfortable with his wife’s body.
He seems like he is the one delivering the baby
GOOD JOB LEX...I have so many comments 😂. Brad look under her like he was working on his truck engine😂. Happy for all 3 of ya and that baby is lucky to have you as parents.😊
Awesome father and husband!!!He was her dr, her lover, her friend, her doula it gets no better than that❤❤❤❤❤
Brad & Lex, I worked L&D and newborn nursery several years ago. Girlfriend, you had me in tears! Brad, you’re an amazing Dad! Many “fathers to be” had to leave the room, feeling faint! Good job Brad, Lex and sweet baby Jack ♥️!
When he put the beanie on your head and just held it for a minute.. such a beautiful moment! Congrats mama!
😩😩😩
Amazing, guys! And on my birthday! 😀 Thank you so much for sharing this time in your life with us. I’m so happy for you. Lex, you’re a trooper and Brad, you’re a good man. We can tell you are both going to be wonderful parents and I look forward to seeing where life takes you all as Jack grows up. Welcome to the world, Jack! 😁
Congratulations guys! I've never seen a man so involved in delivery, fantastic job Brad! Lexi you did amazing😊
OMG. I cried. Lex you are a champion and Brad you should go to medical school. You were unbelievable. Welcome to the world Jack. You have THE BEST parents. Congrats you guys !
I’m crying. Congratulations. I’ve been there, it’s the most difficult thing and the most rewarding thing you can do with your life. God bless you mightily.
This was such an amazing thing to watch! Momma you crushed it and Dad, damn you were what I think every woman wants. Man did I cry when Jack entered the world. ❤️
I am due in January and I hope I can be the soldier Lex was, and I hope my husbands is able to be Super Dad like Brad. Love to all three of you. ❤
Awww congrats,🎉 it’ll be here before you know it!
I love how the dad is so much more involved thsn most men would be. This is such s special.time and he will never forget the experience.
Wow! You guys both did so great. I'm a grandpa and got a couple tears when Lex first saw Jack and burst in to tears. Thanks for bringing us along. Man! You both did so good. Take care guys.
Omg Brad is so funny and caring and he cares for Lexi so so much
What an amazing man. You are so blessed to hv him by your side. This is how it should be..many more blessings.
he so caring and helpful and concerned through the whole thing🥺😩 congratulations ❤️
Wow so proud of Lex and Brad for his support! What an amazing video to capture the birth of your first born. I only wish I had the same for my children. So happy for both of you guys! ❤
Thanks Roy!! 🙏🏽❤️ we appreciate you supporting us, always 👊🏾
This was one of the best births I have seen. I love how Daddy was her Love, Dr, coach and of course the best Daddy. This baby is very blessed with great parents. I really loved watching this. I am momma and gmaw. I have watched many birth and birthed 2 myself. I just loved how involved and reassuring Brad was . Congrats 🎉 and prayers and love to all 3 of you 🙏 ❤.
I'm just looking looking at the nurse like -___- when she said wait for the doctor. I am so impressed with you guys. And yes I was crying at the end. You picked the best name ever, Jack. Congratulations. Your lives are forever changed. You'll be great parents.
Thats a very supportive husband right there. Wow God bless his soul. He knew why he was on earth. Its like he was a doctor. I admire how he was so calm throughout the whole thing.
It's like he's the doc there. This is such a wonderful moment and vid.❤
Thank you 🥹❤️❤️
I am loving Brad during the whole labor process! Congratulations you two! Welcome to Earth side Jack
Congratulations Jack! You are so lucky to have Brad and Lex as your parents. You have parents that will always have your back.
This man is so supportive towards his wife, trust me when you are giving birth all you want is the support of your partner so to see this is absolutely incredible. If my husband had this much love and care to see my children being born it wouldn’t been so much easier ❤❤😊
You two deserve a Reward for being Amazing at birth .
Thank you aw 🥹
Thankyou for sharing this moment. I held it together right until the end, but when jack cried...woosh ....tears flowing all over the place... Well done lex , Brad , normally dad's feel like a spare part during labour, but you really got involved, it was wonderful to see.
Congratulations on the birth of baby Jack. 😊 During delivery Brad was the calm in the storm. Good job Lex!
the side confessionals during the video were HILARIOUS 🤣🤣 “I’ve never felt a drug so powerful”😂😂
'It looks like a crime scene'. That made me laugh Brad! Congratualtions to you both!
The most hands on and supportive daddy to be ever! Congrats to you both!
Congratulations on the safe arrival of Baby Jack!! Sending big hugs to you all xxx
I’m on the bicycle at the gym crying watching this and I’m barely halfway through the video! When your partner said “just let us know if anything changes”! He was FULLY COMMITTED to being your birthing assistant in any way you needed. So awesome! I’m 17 weeks and hope my husband and I can handle it together like you both did. Great job!!
